?? Did they not choose this life? No one is forced to be a celebrity. Please.

She was 10. Lots of choices then, right?

Are they 10 now? Or are they voluntarily continuing their public lifestyle?

This.

Almost all child stars end up with severe trauma. No child should go through that kind of life.

Please search “golden handcuffs”, and that’s usually used for people that had choice to start with. These people were CHILDREN, usually manipulated by the adults in their lives. The damage is done to these people long before they have the privilege of choice and self determination, and by then, it’s been beaten into them that they don’t have any of that.

They’ve lived like this their whole life. They don’t have the opportunity to just click their heels and have it all go away.

Weird. So every child star ends up in the public as an adult. Huh, who knew.

Selena Gomez, age 29
Demi Lovato, age 29

What's "going on" with them? Childless and almost 30. They have no purpose, they have squandered their fertility prime & peak beauty (to attract a mate) on partying, "dating" and other pointlessness. Now they confront 30 childless and alone, thus they are depressed and getting nuts.

Shut up. Seriously.

(Also fwiw by son and his friends - 21 - were telling me last week that Selena Gomez is the most beautiful woman in the world. Not that it matters or should be a defining trait, just that a bunch of 21 yo boys completely disagree that she is past her “prime & peak” (horrible term).)

Childhood trauma and an OD episode that left her brain damaged has created a struggling person.

I’d say that a disproportionate number end up having difficulties especially in early adulthood, wouldn’t you?

They're multi-millionaires and near 30, not teens. For all of human history, outside of maybe perhaps the last 30 or so years, these young ladies would have 1 to 3 children by now. Their bodies yearn for purpose, yearn to be mothers, they're idle all day, they drive themselves nuts. Many such cases.
