This is interesting. Not conservative but often mistaken as such, and I use Mrs even in my work bio but it's largely bc we lived overseas and the paperwork is easier if you change your name -- Mrs. is simply accurate, in my case. Also I'll admit, my DH is a hunk and I love to show off that we're a pair. |
| Conservative or alt-right/tea party? |
Thanks, I think this is the best approach. I just feel a little deceptive now. But we have a lot of fun together and I don't need to agree with someone to appreciate them. |
Ms. is also accurate. It is like Mr. "Overseas" signifies military and conservative. "Abroad" is what non-military people say |
You sound fine. If you are not obnoxiously bringing it up in every conversation, you are a fine person. |
So you don’t think LGBT people should have equal rights? |
| My guess is you could not define conservative vs progressive. You vote Republican. That’s different than being conservative. |
Not military. However, I am a military brat so probably where I picked up that parlance |
+1. I’m a SOUTHERN liberal who wears pearls. I’m not religious though. |
| If you say the letters "A", "O", and "C" in that exact order, a conservative's right eyelid will begin to twitch uncontrollably. It's a scientific fact. |
|
Why? Are you intent on ensuring you keep to “your” people and hate anyone else who might have differing thoughts or views?
Get to know a person…stop stereotyping. |
+1 |
I'm a liberal and I can't stand AOC. She's an embarrassment. |
Oh well that's because the way you tell a liberal is they assume everyone agrees with them! When I've had to tell liberals I am not a liberal they are actually shell shocked. Oops! Got exposed to someone with different views! |
Those clues would be wrong for 80% of moms I know, especially the Catholic ones. |
