Arlington parent, truly curious: where are those rosters?

What makes you think Spirit doesn't have its rosters when Spirit parents just told you they do?

I just don't understand why anyone would really care about other clubs rosters. I don't even have the time or energy to know my own kids so soon team much less worry or be concerned about kids at another club.

Another Arlington parent here. Our roster is up on team snap. I think we are up to 16.

Sounds like the parents on each team are aware of their rosters. So, there's no club to name in the "name that club" question originally posted.

Spirit parent (s) doesn't know the roster size and will be surprised soon.

I'm surprised with all that stress, you find the time to come to a thread like this at all.

Oh, burn!!!! From the parent who is tracking where 16 year old girls are playing soccer.

FCV parent doing more PR? With all that winning even if it means your child is on the bench, however do you make so much time for the rest of us? And since you are so vastly superior, why on earth do you care what our rosters look like?

I love how many pots we have on this board that choose to call other kettles black. Everyone - no matter what they say - is interested in rosters. No one is tracking anyone per se, but player movement is always a topic of discussion every single year. And certain players - because of their talent (real or perceived) - always get people's attention. Nothing new, nothing going away.

So why not get off your wooden high horses and quit pretending?

Probably wondering if there is room on the Spirit roster for their kid after a year of staring at each other across the field sitting during games.

Oh Geeeeez...can you both not start this again. I don't care one bit if you guys wanna go at each other, but lots of us come here for information and wading through lame insults between Spirit & FCV is such a waste of time.

I genuinely do not know kids on other teams outside of the connections of past teammates of my own kids. I only know where kids end up because of friendships formed with the parents. And any reason for their moving shared in confidence with me would not be repeated on a public forum. Outside of that? No, I don't know nor do I care about the "landscape of talent". So yes, it is weird the amount of effort that parents put into tracking other kids like they are pro players in a pro league.

The DA rosters will be posted soon enough as well as ECNL and when that happens feel free to geek out all you want on how the landscape has shifted as if it matters.

In fairness, last time it was Loudoun and FCV, and since FCV always seems to be in the middle of every problem with their efforts to attack any club in the vicinity but crying "foul" if anyone responds, I'm starting to believe people when they say FCV parents campaign and recruit. It's too constant a theme to ignore.

But if FCV parents will quit attacking other clubs, I'm pretty confident all those other clubs that they have gone after will be happy to move on.

What are you even talking about? No one is tracking players, except maybe FCV so they can recruit?

See below at the comment dragging FCV into some mess. Seems like there are a-holes at each club who like to visit this board and trash each other. Every club has it's jerks. It's a shame.

All this debate. Can Spirit posters name their DD's roster size. Yes or No.

Why do you need to know? If you are not on Spirit it doesn't matter to you. If you are on Spirit you already know.

Lol. All jokes aside. That's funny.
