Can we stop saying she "DGAF?" She is 21 in a $5000 Mui Mui coat. She obviously put thought into it and wanted to make a fashion statement

Maybe Oprah bought the coat for her?

All the Biden-Harris kids had insanely expensive clothes on. Ella is a fashion student at Parson’s. Her style is going to be much more bold and haute couture than the Biden girls with their blowouts and monochrome. That also means it will be more provoking and divisive. Love it or don’t but she definitely put a lot of thought into it.

The one is tux looks fierce. love it.

Brrrrrr!

Why do men get to wear jackets and trousers and proper shoes, and women have to pretend they're not freezing to bits.

The woman in the tux is Ashley Biden, Joe and Jill's daughter or "the new Ivanka" if you read the rag that is the Daily Mail Any IDs on the others?

Re: woman in tux. This is pretty much what Melania wore to the debate.

Except Ashley is wearing a mask.

God love the people who notice stuff like this. I’ve watched that episode since Trump was elected and I would still never have picked up on this.

This is really funny; although I think at some point there was going to be a woman in the White House wearing a purple (bipartisan color) suit and classic pearls. And whenever that happened someone would bring out this proof that Simpsons predicted it. (Maybe the argument is that it happened so soon (?) )

Anyway, there are other things that I think are more of a coincidence or can be looked at as "predictions", but I don't think this is that.

btw, I do love VP Kamala and Lisa, too.

Not that, because this episode is ancient - it’s from 20 years ago. I meant I had just seen it again recently, since Trump actually became the President (DVRed it for my teen.)

In other circumstances, they are classic jewelry. Yesterday, they were tribute to Harris

OMG, I just figured it out - you are the same lady who hasn't worn red in four years, aren't you???

Not the greatest pic, but what I could find:

Aww he needed to bundled up more. His little hands look cold Otherwise adorable. and he looked so cute during the family celebration at the WH last night.

Ok, I don't know about the mitten situation but he slayed me in this hat (but I hope it's lined):

And you're right about night outfit too. So cute.

I am not, no. Believe it or not, more than one woman here thinks about the meaning of clothes.

Anonymous wrote:Wow, this thread took a turn. It was so fun yesterday. I don’t love Meena’s dress for me, but it was cool. Her little girls are so cute and her husband is clearly into fashion too. Now I want to follow her on Instagram.

If you don’t know who Amy Klobuchar is, did you not turn on a TV for the entire primary season? I saw questions about Janet Yelland, too? Maybe the people commenting aren’t from DC and don’t know their politicians like we do.

Of course I know that she is a senator. I also know that the house and senate consider the president's budget proposals, so each senator is an important part of the budget process. I know who Janet Yelland is.

I just like the fact that people will rewear clothes and don't need a new outfit for each new occasion.

Apparently neither of you clowns know how to spell Janet YELLEN's name.

Chill, Francis. It's a typo in a fashion forum.

Obviously. But when you show your ass, you’ll be called on it.

Why would she? Ella has a wealthy father.

Dr. Biden usually looks MUCH better. She seemed to be channeling the Queen of England with her matched dress, matched coat, obviously dyed gloves. She was the one who really needed jewel tones with her light hair. Nancy Pelosi should have helped with the selection. Even Amy Klobuchar (who I actually admire except for her fashion sense) looked better than Jill Biden. Hillary looked fat and dumpy I watched CSpan and she and Bill got to the top of the steps and he was mobbed and she basically moved on without him.

Don't see much comparison to the Queen of England at all. JB looks warm and natural, not cold and stuffy.

+1

My MIL thinks she is the effing Queen. Change my mind.

Other than Bernie Sanders, who was consistent to his own style (including mittens?), I didn't really see anyone whose clothing, hair, or accessories were wholly-inappropriate or poorly-fitted. Yes, Kamala Harris and Dr. Biden's coats looked a little tight or boxy, but that's likely because of body armor. I thought the colors they chose were lovely!

Bill Clinton's gloves made me smile. No dress/formal gloves for him!

Janet Yellen was the female version of Bernie.
