This is the Capital police officer who lead that group of rioters away from where they wanted to go and towards his backup...

I love the scarf.

Dressed like a hero.

And the tie. He looks dashing.

Go to Alfred Street Baptist on any Sunday (even during the pandemic) and you will see this type of look.

I just have to walk around the office. This is how the black men in my office dress. Always so polished and professional.

Have you ever wondered why?

I know why. Doesn’t mean I still can’t think they look amazing. Or can we only oogle women on this site?

I wonder if the pearls are for Harris

To be fair, Laura Bush’s MIL is known for wearing pearls, so could be a family thing.

I do think that even for conservative women there is a sense of excitement and solidarity over the first woman VP.

Or she's wearing pearls because pearls are classic?

I have met Laura Bush - she is stunning in person.

Can anyone discern W's scarf brand? I zoomed in but couldn't quite make out the label.

Aside from the label hanging from the scarf, I think this is the most elegant couple.

Aren't you supposed to remove those labels?

Well, I would have for sure removed the one hanging by a thread. I think Laura looks great. Her hair is gorgeous, especially the color.

I hope there's a sharp decline in the sale of false eyelashes at the very least.

I think unfortunately the Influencer worship will have to die before that trend goes away.

Can we just pause for this picture a moment? Can you imagine POTUS45 casually holding a baby (even his own grandkid)...ever?!!

I'm so impressed by that little sweetie. He had quite a day and seemed very happy

Sweet photo!

The baby's name is Beau!

Joe holding Beau. I love it!

Is the other baby grandchild not in the picture?

The color of her coat is horrible with her purple outfit. But her hair does look amazing and I love that she wore flat, presumably comfy shoes. I felt so bad for Kamala Harris and her feet--those high heels can't have felt good after a few hours on her feet!

I’d like to see the Clintons holding hands.

Dude! They are not together.

I've heard that for years and "got it" before - but at this point? WHy would they do that? What's in it for them?

That's such nonsense. If you paid any attention to their post-2016 lives you would see that they're basically always together. There's no reason for them to do that to keep up the "act" at this point. They're actually just a married couple who had some trouble twenty years ago.

The Clinton's are the epitome of, "The only people who understand a marriage are the two people in it." Bill is obviously a serial womanizer, but it's apparent from the earliest pictures of them together to the way he looked at her on the 2016 campaign trail that he is completely head-over-heels for Hillary. I don't understand them and I could not live like that...but I also don't think I could handle the emotional aspects of being Governor/POTUS/Senator/SOS/Presidential Candidate either. One thing that has always seemed clear to me is that they love and need each other. Though it's not the marriage I would want.

I think they are intellectual equals and he loves that. He unfortunately loves to stick his wang in other women. I think Hillary has accepted that he does that because she also has the fierce intellectual attraction to him. I assume he’s learned to be more discreet which is the respect he owes her.

Well Hunter isn’t with the other baby’s mother so perhaps she didn’t want her child participating in these events without her during COVID. That child is just under 3, right?

I’m thinking she was wearing layers for the cold and quite possibly a bullet proof vest of some sort.

The white cost and dress are lovely but the white dress was very wrinkled. Love Dr. Biden regardless.

Dr. Biden usually looks MUCH better. She seemed to be channeling the Queen of England with her matched dress, matched coat, obviously dyed gloves. She was the one who really needed jewel tones with her light hair. Nancy Pelosi should have helped with the selection. Even Amy Klobuchar (who I actually admire except for her fashion sense) looked better than Jill Biden. Hillary looked fat and dumpy I watched CSpan and she and Bill got to the top of the steps and he was mobbed and she basically moved on without him.

Amy Klobuchar looked absolutely awful. That coat was terrible (and I am a fan of mustard yellow and camel, in general) but wtf. She stuck out like a sore thumb and her mask looked like it was made of red paisley print. The outfit without the coat, in the rotunda, was equally as bad. A black suite with a red shell. Did she not get the memo on the color scheme? She looked as if she bought that entire outfit at Maurices, on clearance, last minute. An embarrassment to Minnesota (and I like her!!).
