Other than Bernie Sanders, who was consistent to his own style (including mittens?), I didn't really see anyone whose clothing, hair, or accessories were wholly-inappropriate or poorly-fitted. Yes, Kamala Harris and Dr. Biden's coats looked a little tight or boxy, but that's likely because of body armor. I thought the colors they chose were lovely!

Bill Clinton's gloves made me smile. No dress/formal gloves for him!

Janet Yellen was the female version of Bernie.

Google. She looked all snug in a black puffer coat and a good deal more sensible than Tom Hanks freezing his a$$ off.

I think some of the looks are hideous, but they very clearly DGAF are being true to themselves, and that is pretty refreshing.

Can we stop saying she "DGAF?" She is 21 in a $5000 Mui Mui coat. She obviously put thought into it and wanted to make a fashion statement

Maybe Oprah bought the coat for her?

All the Biden-Harris kids had insanely expensive clothes on. Ella is a fashion student at Parson’s. Her style is going to be much more bold and haute couture than the Biden girls with their blowouts and monochrome. That also means it will be more provoking and divisive. Love it or don’t but she definitely put a lot of thought into it.

You guys know that they are all very wealthy, right? Like legitimately wealthy and worked hard for their money, unlike the Trumps who all inherited it from grandpa. Even the younger generation in the Biden-Harris clans are very successful on their own -- Ella Emhoff is a student at Parsons Design and pretty successful with her own textile designs. Meena Harris has worked for big tech companies and her husband still does. Her company Phenomenal is doing great! Ashley Biden has her own line of clothing, as well, I think. These are individuals, nothing like the Trump fembots.

Can we just pause for this picture a moment? Can you imagine POTUS45 casually holding a baby (even his own grandkid)...ever?!!

I'm so impressed by that little sweetie. He had quite a day and seemed very happy

Dr. Jill Biden's Inauguration evening dress had flowers from all 50 states plus the US territories embroidered on it, with the flower of Delaware sewn near her heart and the other flowers branching out from it.

Inside of the coat, representing the lifelong calling and service of Dr. Biden as an educator, is a hand embroidery on the lining with a quote from founding father Benjamin Franklin: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”'

The materials used were existing available fabrics to minimize the impact on the environment."

I wonder if the pearls are for Harris

To be fair, Laura Bush’s MIL is known for wearing pearls, so could be a family thing.

I do think that even for conservative women there is a sense of excitement and solidarity over the first woman VP.

Or she's wearing pearls because pearls are classic?

I have met Laura Bush - she is stunning in person.

Can anyone discern W's scarf brand? I zoomed in but couldn't quite make out the label.

Aren't you supposed to remove those labels?

The color of her coat is horrible with her purple outfit. But her hair does look amazing and I love that she wore flat, presumably comfy shoes. I felt so bad for Kamala Harris and her feet--those high heels can't have felt good after a few hours on her feet!

I’d like to see the Clintons holding hands.

Dude! They are not together.

I've heard that for years and "got it" before - but at this point? WHy would they do that? What's in it for them?

Well, I would have for sure removed the one hanging by a thread. I think Laura looks great. Her hair is gorgeous, especially the color.

The pink coat worn by one of the Biden granddaughters was very pretty.

That's such nonsense. If you paid any attention to their post-2016 lives you would see that they're basically always together. There's no reason for them to do that to keep up the "act" at this point. They're actually just a married couple who had some trouble twenty years ago.

Elizabeth Warren wearing purple in solidarity too

This is the Capital police officer who lead that group of rioters away from where they wanted to go and towards his backup...

I love the scarf.

Dressed like a hero.

And the tie. He looks dashing.

Go to Alfred Street Baptist on any Sunday (even during the pandemic) and you will see this type of look.

I just have to walk around the office. This is how the black men in my office dress. Always so polished and professional.

Have you ever wondered why?

Was the wearing of a corsage discussed; a long tradition of many First Ladies.
