We are already looking into private options after tonight’s disaster.

We would be too if our youngest child wasn’t going to graduate in two years. We’ll stick it out until then, but then we are so out of this looney bin.

Time to go! Enough of this garbage here.

Hilarious to read the last few posts. Please, take your marbles and go.

Don’t you just love these morons who try as hard as they can to make Langley look bad? It only reflects poorly on them.

This is not Langley’s best night. You might want to take a cruise and come back in a month.

My kids will be going to McLean high per current zoning, I am not worried if they add some low income kids to Langley or McLean, plenty of good kids at all levels and I truly cheer for the kids who succeed despite all hurdles.. I would be pissed if my kids are made to endure long bus rides in the name of equity. We bought our house a qtr mile from the HS for logistical reasons, the commute works for our two parent working household.

Exactly. When I was voting for school board today, it was looking at the list on my iPhone making sure I got every Democrat and thinking Screw You Great Falls Bigots. And I have no vested interest in the Great Falls Herndon mess. But it pisses me off that they are being Trumpian tactics to FCPS education. I really don’t want my kids education pulled down into lies and rumors and chaos and distorted videos. And I don’t want FCPS to become a Trump rally. If they have a point, they can attend a school board meeting and make it like rational adults.

Live with the backlash you created. And do better. We don’t need those tactics here.

And it’s voters like you who just totally screwed my child. We saved for over a decade to afford our school district. We can’t afford private. But hey I’m also a conservative so I guess my family deserves nothing but the worst right?

You just gave the board and supervisor 100% power over your schools and home values. Let’s start the insane plan and let’s start busing in Fairfax. Good luck with your hatred and good luck. Nuclear Option starts tomorrow with policy changes. Good luck Fairfax County

So is Laura Jane Cohen going to let some West Springfield students be moved back to Lee?

Only if it is the Equity lens and hits the socioeconomic diversity

Whine if you want, but it’s exactly this sort of histrionics from the Republican candidates for School Board that led to their crushing defeat tonight. I mean, just maybe you could wait until there is actually something that affects your kid before you start complaining that someone else totally screwed then over.

Langley is just fine, thanks.

It’s great that you have no problem with your kids attending a school with 18 trailers.

The ones that lost were the ones that did not want to change boundaries or have an addition.
