She is insufferable.
💯 she will come up empty on this lawsuit, which is just an effort to restore her rep.

It is unclear exactly how Mr. Wallace operated. There are references in emails to “social manipulation” and “proactive fan posting,” and text messages cite efforts to “boost” and “amplify” online content that was favorable to Mr. Baldoni or critical of Ms. Lively.

“We are crushing it on Reddit,” Mr. Wallace told Ms. Nathan, according to a text she sent Ms. Abel on Aug. 9.

The next day, one of Ms. Nathan’s employees texted, “We’ve started to see shift on social, due largely to Jed and his team’s efforts to shift the narrative.”

Yes, this was clear. I think she has a strong case and will prevail. He created a toxic environment on set, and after.

I eyerolled when I saw the headline but if you read the complaint it is very damning against director and his team, and also fascinating description of how media and information can be manipulated. So please read the complaint before you judge BL.

UH, no. She came from an acting family and grew up in a nice neighborhood in CA. LOL

Isn’t she from Florida??

Maybe? She largely grew up in CA - at least went to high school there.

Her brother Jason was Rusty in European Vacation and her sister Robin was in Teen Witch which became kind of a cult favorite. She also played Goldie Hawn‘s daughter in wildcats.

The family was never a list, but they were steadily working in Hollywood. At worst they were upper middle class. Maybe not wealthy but definitely upper middle class.

It was just a clueless comment and I don’t know why they can’t see the whole “we’re so relatable!” moment has passed. They should just be who they are and not constantly try to brand themselves.

Right it shows how out of touch they are, to call a family that was earning in the 6 figures 20+ years ago "working class." They were probably UMC not even regular MC. To these rich folks all us normies are working class.

She is exhausting. The lawsuit is tiresome. The husband is so overrated. Bye Blake!

Amazing people would not believe the evidence presented. Hopefully no one will work with these people who want to destroy someone’s reputation.

Either you didn’t read the lawsuit or you are part— wittingly or unwittingly— of the whole effort to take her down.

The text messages are very clear— they literally say we are going to destroy her but we shouldn’t say more in print

And this is why Angelina Jolie requested messages between Brad and them. I would not be surprised if they team up in the future for this. This is incredibly damaging. Very proud of Blake for this!

This can not be any more laid out.

Ms. Nathan wrote to Ms. Abel: “And socials are really really ramping up. In his favour, she must be furious. It’s actually sad because it just shows you have people really want to hate on women.”

Is that kind of smear campaign actually illegal, unless it's lies (libel)? Isn't this just how the PR machine always works?

+2 Baldoni and his team are repulsive.

The nytimes story makes Baldoni look pretty evil. And I say this as someone who was half-agreeing with the "Blake is basic and boring and a mean girl"

This lawsuit will not save her career

Good for her for exposing it. This is why I'm automatically suspicious of any movement on social media determined to take someone down.

She cannot undo that mean interview. She was horrible to the reporter. So bratty. Also the wealth different between her and the actor/director is huge. She is the one who wants to destroy someone. She should have just let it go and work on being nicer. Beyond this actor other actors and media have said she is difficult.
