They are never interested in an honest debate. They would joyfully fck over Ds any chance they get. |
And you totally fail to see the irony in your post. |
Which bill was it that democrats proposed anti-gerrymandering? |
I vote utilitarian. |
I fully support a federal ban on gerrymandering. Fck Rs. |
OMG. Youve fallen into their trap. |
Rs love to play obtuse. https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/senate-bill/3750 https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/5449 |
Fck you. We have ALL fallen into their trap. They are amoral POSs who will do anything to win. We can't have nice things because Rs will shit all over them. |

While I’d prefer a federal ban on gerrymandering, the Republicans will never go for that.
So if Republicans are ok disenfranchising Democrats in other states then I’m ok disenfranchising Republicans in VA. They voted for Trump, FFS. They have terrible morals/judgment. F Rs |
If you read the bills proposed by Dems, they said no "partisan" gerrymandering but insisted that minorities be able to choose their preferred candidates. So, that sounds a lot like they were suggesting racial gerrymandering. |
| I’m watching the Georgia election. If a D comes within five points of the Republican candidate, I’m voting no. I really want to flip seats in VA fair and square. If MTGs seat is that close, the Ds will sweep a ton of seats in 26. |
Doesn't appear to be that close. |
Did you forget that it was the Dems who were against the 2020 amendment to ban gerrymandering right here in VA? Despite their push, it passed in a landslide. Interestingly, Arlington was the only jurisdiction across the stater that had a majority vote against it. So spare us all the righteous indignation. https://virginiamercury.com/2020/06/24/virginia-democratic-party-urges-voters-to-defeat-redistricting-reform-amendment/ |
