Where is the outrage about the Israeli starvation of Gaza?

Tell Netanyahu to end the war
This time nobody in Israel will be able to say’We did not know’

It's not just Netanyahu but closer to 80% of Israelis who support ethnic cleansing and our genocide. They are monsters.

Monsters have their way, when people of conscience choose to look away.

As they have done, since 1948.

In other news, we had to burn through 1/4 of our high-end interceptor missile inventory to apparently protect Tel Aviv and Haifa from getting their asses handed to them by Iran’s self-defense measures last month.

JFC, can this arrangement get any worse?

Yup, I read about the Times of Israel. I find I get more honest information about what is going on in Israel with the built in biases there and in the Haaretz than the New York Times.

My NYT fast is going well. I'm only checking once a day now. I saw that our DC neighbor, Tom Friedman posted one of his inane articles today.

The Palestinian situation always seemed temporary. Israel has been annexing land and slowly making life impossible for the Palestinians.
I always had the impression that US support was partly to blame as it made financial and military sense to not find a long term viable solution.
I never imagined that Israel would opt for this

The fact that that narrative is being controlled in such a way that “don’t kill children” is now synonymous with being an antisemite - is actually what has erased my last scrap of hope for the future of humanity.

When propaganda can drown out actual footage of dead children- all for the sake of a few people having more money and more power…. It’s over.

The “soul” of human beings as a whole is gone.

There are good people in this world still, but at this point the cancer cells have out maneuvered and over powered the healthy cells of this organism.

While I agree that soulless acts are happening all around us, I don’t believe humanity has lost its soul. I know this because I exist—and in doing so, I help establish humanity. I am surrounded by loving, thoughtful, and principled people with a wide range of belief systems—from the deeply mature to the heartbreakingly simple. That in itself is a kind of hope.

I also agree with the PP: the war must end. Full stop.

FWIW, I come at this as someone who believes in the Bible—and respects the Q’ran - and I believe there will come a time when this world as we know it will end.

Read holy books. There is more in common than there is that is not.

Where are the protests? There were many under Biden and none that I've seen under Trump, even on days when Netenyahu is in town.

Marjorie Taylor Green is incredibly scummy and awful. But if even SHE calls a genocide for what it is, those still defending Israel are truly the bottom of the barrel. Lowest of the low.

Yes, the antisemite who accused Jews of using space lasers to start wildfires used the word “genocide” against Israel. She’s got no bias against Jews. /s

Pin this thread for anyone who wants exhibit A of rabid antisemitism under the guise of “anti Israel”.

Yes, the suffering in Gaza is awful. Maybe blame Hamas …. You know, the terrorist group who was stealing so much food that this food distribution system - flawed, to be sure - was where Israel went in order to ensure Hamas didn’t hoard it from its people. Facts matter even when you don’t like Jews.

If facts matter, why are you repeating the disproven lie that Hamas was stealing aid? Even Israel has admitted that was not true. Keep up.

there won't be one, as this is just another fabrication.

And where were the Palestinian "people of conscience" on Oct 7? Seems like there weren't any. They only came out once the consequences of Hamas' atrocities became clear.
