Definitely not. They all have areas they’re looking to improve. |
Agree, 5 is probably on the high side, I'd say on average 3 to each team depending on current roster size. Some of the teams may not take more than 1 or 2 additions. |
Are the Pride girls all leaving again? |
MD A parent chiming in...if your daughter is good enough, there will always be a spot. MnD and SW have tryouts into HS. Hero's tends to stop open tryouts as you enter HS. |
MD parent here as well and agree. If you are a stud there’s room. The oldest year for Hero’s tryouts this summer are the 28s. If you are the best player on a lower level A or high B team it can’t hurt to tryout. |
I can’t say with certainty, but why would the best Stars and/or Pride players leave? Just gut it out one more yeR before Capital. |
Exactly right. If you are a stud you probably feel good about your chances making Capital. Moving to a MD club team at this point would be counterproductive. All bets are off if you have a disruptive parent, of course. |
Stars and Pride players should make a solid Capital team. |
I don’t understand why people are acting like the Pride girls are going to combine with Stars to go to Capital. There may be a couple, but the vast majority will stay with pride. Capital pulls from multiple clubs. They will get quite a few from Next Level. But I wouldn’t put your money on many Pride girls moving to Capital And no, I’m not a Pride parent either |
Disagree...if you can make a MD A team now as a 28, you don't have to stress about making Capital next year. Unless you are head and shoulders above the rest of the pack. Nothing wrong with sizing your DD up with the best MD players this summer. You can always have her tryout for Cap next year and figure out whether to stay on current club or not. |
| Stars and Pride are clearly the top teams to feed Capital. I was not impressed with NL. |
I had always heard that the top Pride girls went to Capital. I know some 2026’s did. I just think at 2028, the clear talent is with Stars and Pride thus I thought they’d be the clear feeders. |
Well, that might take one Stars parent out of the equation. |
I think that was a one year thing (26). It hasn’t always been like that every year. There may Be two or three that go, but I wouldn’t say all of them go. But who knows |
The Stars and Pride girls have grown up hoping they would someday make Capital. Both Stars and Pride have invested in their high school programs, but they have not yet been as successful as Capital, including related to recruiting. Stars and Pride will try desperately not to lose their top talent to Capital, but it may be difficult. |
