That is still weeks away. Based on last year, maybe middle August?

Schedules (without times) are up on DA website. Looks like our region has expanded to include NYC and Long Island. That’s 5+ hours away. Yikes!

Naw, that's the same New York trip we did last year. Notice how that's over a weekend?

Looks like Albertson Fury left the ECNL to join the DA.

1. Like another poster said, that NY trip was on there last year. We go up twice. Once in the fall and once in the spring.
2. Can't be final. SJEB Rush Academy isn't on there, and they have joined the DA in our Atlantic conference.
3. The two conferences are still listed separate in this announcement: http://www.ussoccerda.com/20180618-nine-clubs-to-join-girls-development-academy-2018-2019 (which also has Seacoast as another DA add. That's a decent club).

(wow! Albertson Fury left the ECNL!

Every parent of a DA player in VA knows their kids team roster, except for the parents of one club.

Name that club.

I’m lost because I’ve seen the FCV rosters online and the roster for my DD’s Spirit team is on TeamSnap.

Heard a rumor (unconfirmed) that Spirit may not going with the 18-20 roster size as promised and are looking to repeat the huge 24+ roster sizes like they did a year ago. Heard this (and some other things) is causing some parents to have wandering eyes. So for the parent that mentioned teamsnap, what say you...

Why does this matter? This team success wins/losses is secondary but only primary by those who seem to suffer some type of confidence issues.

If you know your roster, fantastic, I’m glad that issue is resolved early for you.

For the rosters I’ve seen, I’m more worried about having enough players i/o too many

Wins/losses are secondary to player development for every DA and ECNL team in the DMV except one.

Name that club.

I think you are mistaken with your analysis.

You may be misreading the tea leaves if you believe parents will blindly follow the piper off a cliff.

If you believe that wins/loses are secondary, then you must believe that development is primary. In my opinion, huge rosters don't develop players like maybe you think. In fact, I tend to believe it may be opposite. I also tend to believe that some parents are very concerned about this.

Truth is, there are many alternatives in the DMV. Sometimes, rival clubs don't have to recruit. Get my drift?

If the club you are thinking of is DA Club, then the statement you made isn't 100% true.
I know one ECNL club that is very concerned with wins and losses (at least one coach in the club on the girls side)

And one DA club that is as well.

Definitely a rumor. Rosters will be 20 max, per Tom consistently. I’m not that parent mentioning TeamSnap. I am a Spirit parent. And I’ve seen the TeamSnap. But if they are confused based on ... what? Ask Tom for clarification.

Or are FCV promoters doing some PR?

Same...I'm FCV and I've seen our rosters. Wonder which club the poster is speaking of. Maybe Arlington?
