SS had many business ventures and likely traveled or was out of AIW offices often. I don't believe that anyone in that house recognized Wint. I don't think perps knew family schedule as police first reported. I think that was an assumption but inaccurate.

I don't agree. Mr. S. didn't know him, but everyone knows the boss. This is a blue collar business. Have you seen AIW? It's your basic kind of non-fancy warehouse type structure like you see on Route 1. We're not talking about General Motors here. I recall from a channel 9 report that Mr. S. inherited the business. And it's a very hard scrabble sort of business where you make your money somewhat "low to the ground". It's probably very hard to screen out a sociopath in that type of business-since everyone is probably pretty macho and aggressive. Wint totally knew who Mr. S was.

THIS.

I think the family should offer to pay for the deceased housekeepers funeral so her family doesn't have to beg for money on GoFundMe.

The car was around 200k but the assistant posted it was a 700k car and it's not

Also, we don't know that the family hasn't 1. Offered to pay or 2. Who set up the GoFundMe. Could be an opportunistic relative.

please don't post his name--it isn't fair. Any employer who googles his name will come to this thread--that goes for anyone's name on here. You're ruining someone's life. Really.

The name is clearly in the YouTube link. Relax.

To be fair...any future employer is going to know he was Saavas assistant once he lists his job history on his resume

VF's family needing to seek outside help to bring VF home is tragic, but we mustn't judge the S family if they're not contributing. The patriarch and matriarch who employed VF and would usually extend the generosity, actually died WITH her, and the remaining S family are not only rallying around the surviving daughters but are also dealing with their own shocking loss...so let's not judge the S extended family right now, shall we??

It looks that way to me too. Then again Police said the suspect/accomplice(s) would have had to have known the family schedule/whereabouts. Only time will tell.

That's not the same. Directly linking to a thread where people are calling him a loser and a geek is just too much. It's cruel.

This is like the pot calling the kettle black..This person is judging that person and the next person is judging the last person...everyone is entitled to their own opinion and their right to not feel bad for having it, make sense. Lets move on

It's not that I think it's a good idea for the assistant's name/photos/video be made public, especially if it turns out that he didn't do anything. However.....several news outlets/blogs/stories named the Savopoulos girls early on, with photos, including specific details about the schools they attended, ages, etc...so if the 2 month employee (that lied to the cops on multiple occasions and changed his story only after police confronted him with evidence that proved otherwise) is being scrutinized in the court of public opinion for lying to the cops in a quadruple murder case, so be it.

Last I checked, impeding a felony police investigation by withholding information and lying about your role/whereabouts, is also a pretty serious crime itself.

It'd be awful if the family wasn't covering costs for the housekeeper, so I certainly hope it's already been done.

This is one of the worst crimes I'm familiar with and I can't believe it happened to people I know. Not well, but I did know them. It really is a haunting, terrible thing. Just devastating to think about, so really I don't. Gut wrenching.

Have you seen/read a news source saying that Mosler red car is missing? I keep reading it talked about here, but no where else. Thanks!
