I guess he doesn't realize that if the Senate were to try to do this, it is likely that Chief Justice Roberts wouldn't allow it and more, it would absolutely destroy the GOP chances of retaining the Senate in 2020.

Not really. Did Pelosi launder Russian money? Did her campaign have hundreds of "coincidental" contacts with Russians in 2015 and 2016? Has Pelosi introduced legislation or offered policy friends to Russian interests? Because, well, Trump has, at EVERY turn.
