I, and many leftists, think Trump is fascist. It's really pretty obvious that he is. I don't support violence against Trump, Charlie Kirk, Venezuelan people in boats, Gazans, or anyone really.

The shooter thought Charlie Kirk was fascist. Because he was a follower of Nick Fuentes and a groyper who was in a small, radicalized online right wing incel crowd.

We both use the same word, but have very, very different philosophies.

Fuentes has never called Charlie a fascist. Nobody on the far right would use that term as a pejorative against someone who they think isn’t sufficiently right wing. That makes no sense.

Well, the shooter might just be out of his mind. And strengthened by an extremist online right wing community. Or, he might have written that on the bullet for some other reason. Probably someone will ask him at the trial and we'll know then.

Are you unaware of the extremist online left wing community?

Or just ignoring them?

No, both sides have extreme online communities.

You only mentioned the right wing community. Why didn’t you mention both extremes?

At the press conference, Cox said Robinson had become "more political in recent years."

Robinson mentioned during a dinner conversation with a family member that Kirk would be visiting Utah Valley University, according to Cox. Robinson and the family members discussed why they didn't like Kirk and his viewpoints, and the family member stated Kirk was "full of hate and spreading hate," Cox said.
https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/tyler-robinson-charlie-kirk-suspect-shooter-utah/story?id=125474359

If the suspect was a MAGA, why did he think Kirk was spreading hate?

Perhaps because he was indeed spreading hate?

I have family members who are MAGA. They do indeed have a moral compass and are against the spreading of hate.

From the guardian Suspect's high school classmate says Robinson was the only 'leftist' in a family of 'very hard' Republicans
Anna Betts

In a phone interview on Friday, someone who said they were friends with Robinson in high school, who wanted to remain anonymous, said that the suspect was “pretty left on everything” and was “the only member of his family that was really leftist”.

“The rest of his family was very hard Republican,” the friend said.

Around sophomore year, the friend said, Robinson became more extreme in his political views and would “always just be ranting and arguing about them”.

The friend said that they played video games together a lot in high school and noted that the bullet engraving with the arrows was a reference to Helldivers 2 – which we mentioned earlier. He said that the arrows specifically were in reference to “calling in a big bomb that exists” in the game “called the 500 kilogram”.

When the friend saw the news on Friday, he said that he was shocked. “I knew he [Robinson] had strong political views, but I never thought it would even go near that far.”

The friend said that he has not spoken to Robinson in years and began to drift apart toward the end of high school. Another high school classmate separately told the Guardian that the friend and Robinson were close in school and would play video games.

Oh wow. A former high school classmate that hasn't seen him for years. Case cracked wide open.

So what evidence has the news reported other than this that you have read? Post the link.

Absolutely hilarious that MAGAs are trusting an anonymous source in the Guardian.

Absolutely hilarious democrats aren’t trusting an anonymous source in the Guardian.

They trust every anonymous source otherwise.

Democrats do not trust every anonymous source.

The source--if a liar trying to shape narrative--would indeed go to a left leaning paper to establish credibility

You think someone called the Guardian and said they knew the shooter and the Guardian didn’t make sure the source was legitimate?

All they could make sure of, in this quick turnaround moment, is that the person went to the same high school as the shooter. How on earth could the Guardian make sure that the classmate is still in touch with Tyler, or even was telling the truth about his political leanings? That's not verifiable information.

So why do you trust anonymous sources about Trump?

Bingo. These twits trust and promote any anonymous source who has something negative to say about Trump et al. They are hypocrites of the highest order.

+1

A large percentage of Trump stories are from anonymous sources and leftists believe those stories.

Suddenly they are suspicious of anonymous sources.

Trump.has been in the news everyday for the past 10 years, in a variety of ways. This statement of yours is not true.

The reporter would verify they were speaking to a credible person before they published the news story.

Ok newspaperman, what does that mean?

Do you think journalists don’t verify their sources as credible before publishing a news story?

Why don’t you call CNN with your groyper theory and get it published?

All you gotta do is contact a reporter and they will take down your theory and publish it immediately, right?

They can verify if the witness knew the shooter and went to school with him. They cannot verify that what he is saying about the shooter is true. That is why the witness and his statement itself is the "news", not that oh wow we now resllt know the shooter's political thoughts. We don't.

And everyone is forgetting the shooter is still alive, with a voice.

And he hasn’t said anything yet. But everyone here is making up theories about groyper and Nick F. Where is the verified information for those posts?

With zero evidence the president and a bunch of nuts made up a narrative about some imaginary leftist. Now that things are trickling out they are refusing accept it like they often do when presented with evidence (see vaccines, immigrant crime, etc) so people push more. Here we are.

The shooter was a cold blooded killer. The people who have been brainwashed by the messaging of our two political parties are either idiots or temporary idiots who need to snap out of it.

So, you're saying that no one who is a killer has political beliefs? That motivate them to kill? Tell that to all of the members of armies in the world.

There are many, many, many politically brainwashed fools out there still identifying as Republicans and Democrats. When they commit murder, they are murderers first and foremost but yes the divisive culture of hate our two parties have created is very mush so a related problem.

Ok, we get it socialism is the answer, right?

Near the scene at Hortman’s home, authorities say they found an SUV made to look like those used by law enforcement. Inside they found fliers for a local anti-Trump “No Kings” rally scheduled for Saturday and a notebook with names of other lawmakers. The list also included the names of abortion rights advocates and health care officials, according to two law enforcement officials who could not discuss details of the ongoing investigation and spoke to AP on condition of anonymity.

Yeah, it will be revealed in court. His attorneys won’t know either. The prosecution will wait until he testifies to find out what was going on. They won’t subpoena his online accounts or anything like that.
