At my job when we're working through a sale/merger, you can't talk about that stuff with anyone until it's done. Why do you care? Are you FCV? If not, then why do you even care.? Maybe there was an NDA in place or a confidentiality agreement and disclosure could have ended the deal? But, by all means, you should definitely be upset they didn't include you in the buyout talks. The timing of the announcement seemed pretty clear. Keep the teams in-tact and work through the next year, no reason to rock the boat. It was a smart thing to do because what is a soccer club without the players? But don't act like FCV didn't sit on this information and believe that they announced it immediately after the signatures were made.

But you obviously have an understanding that it the information of the sale was not sat on. In reality you are making that up in your own house, in your own mind as well.

You'll believe whatever negative you can grasp on to. I am dealing with the facts as they came to us. I don't need to sit around and try to decide if someone held out on me and if so, maybe I should get mad. I mean, how would that work? They go "After we have XXX amount of deposits, we'll then release the info?" I have a hard time buying that. The way secrets are kept in the soccer world, there's no way that secret would've kept for weeks, months or days.

Who said anything about people leaving or asking for their money back? Nobody is generally that knee jerk and they will see how things go. That said, it is a pretty bad look to drop that bombshell after folks had signed on though.

Possible, maybe, could be. But it isn't. Still at Evergreen. My question, is why would anyone OUTSIDE the club who doesn't want to be there even care where FCV holds training?
