Let me get this straight. Getting mugged in an alley is okay now, because "there is a reason for that"? Some of you need to get your heads examined.

Are you really that dense? No one said it was okay. I think his point was you can estimate and understand the risk of being mugged, robbed, assaulted, and minimize your exposure to that risk - don't walk alone in an alley, drunk, in a sketchy neighborhood at 2 a.m., for example. But crazy punks that shoot people in churches or schools or movie theaters are people you can't plan for or avoid.

turns out there was no disguise at all. i'll leave that open joke for someone else.

my husband and i talked last night about how black churches are so accepting of anyone dropping in. though he certainly looked out of place, they prob initially were like oh a young white guy and then went on about their fellowship. read a memo of a nearby church locking the doors and not letting anyone in that they don't recognize. how incredibly sad is that?

Most churches are open to anybody to drop in. I'm sure there are smaller congregations that open doors on schedule (because there is only one person available to mind it), but I have never heard about anybody being turned away from an open church.

Dylann Roof has confessed to authorities to shooting and killing nine people this week at a historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina, two law enforcement officials said Friday.

One of the officials said that Roof, who is white, told investigators that he wanted to start a race war.

He himself bought the .45-caliber handgun used in the shooting last April at a Charleston gun store, according to the two officials. Earlier, a senior law enforcement official had indicated that Roof’s father bought him a Glock firearm for his birthday.

and he almost didnt go through with because, SHOCKER the black folks in the church werent the menacing welfare recipient thugs he thought they were. he got killed with kindness and repaid that by killing them.
