turns out there was no disguise at all. i'll leave that open joke for someone else.

my husband and i talked last night about how black churches are so accepting of anyone dropping in. though he certainly looked out of place, they prob initially were like oh a young white guy and then went on about their fellowship. read a memo of a nearby church locking the doors and not letting anyone in that they don't recognize. how incredibly sad is that?[/quote]
Most churches are open to anybody to drop in. I'm sure there are smaller congregations that open doors on schedule (because there is only one person available to mind it), but I have never heard about anybody being turned away from an open church.[/quote]
