Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban split

Not sure why pps are hell bent to define how big or small he is in country music. His music legacy speaks for itself. His more current albums don’t sell as well as his earlier ones. And don’t really get what ZB’s record-smashing success has to do with anything.

His last albums aren’t selling because they’re less and less country - at a time country is swinging back to more tradition country and even folksy. His last blockbuster hit was 10 years ago. Also, modern country radio and fans age out their stars. He’s almost 60. He’s had a great run and he still does well on arena/amphitheater tours, especially in Canada and Australia. It will be interesting if the new show with Blake Shelton will find an audience.

Are you people AI bots? I listen to country radio all day at the office and “Messed Up As Me” is/was played on every station constantly. Huge hit song in 2024-25. At his age that’s practically unheard of. And you’re all calling him a washed up nobody. Hilarious.

I like the song but objectively: it peaked on the charts around 25 a year ago. If Urban’s charted about 60 singles, this song is about his 50th best. And this might be the top charting song on his latest album. You can look it up to verify rather than making it up. Hope people enjoy his concert tonight. No denying that he’s a great life performer.

Does he still sing covers at the end? Him singing The Joker was one of my favorite concert moments ever.

That was a lllooonngg time ago. More recently he’s done mostly current pop (Flowers, Pink Pony Club & his duet with Taylor Swift ‘That’s When’). My favorite was when he covered I Took a Pill in Ibiza about 5 years ago.

Well, Nicole Kidman is hardly a bimbo.
