Maureen Callshan’s recent podcast has some interesting gossip. Allegedly/acc to the rumor mill:

-Urban has a side chick or two and has made semi-veiled references to that effect
-Their prenup said that every year Urban didn’t do coke/crack she’d pay him 600K
-She had an affair with Ewan M during M Rouge and got pregnant
-Keith ended it (presumably due to his side chicks since he’s in love with at least one.

These “bombshell” reveals are really lazy. He’s been singing this song with crazy emotion for decades - and this particular lyric enhancement for at least the last 5 years. Same with every other lyric change people have pointed to - it’s all part of his performance. I’m not defending him but the lyric “clues” nothing.

There has been speculation Cruise's only comment ("Nic knows what she did") refers to this. But it could refer to something to do with Scientology as well, since she was quickly seemed an SP.

Scientology was a huge reason they divorced but I do believe she cheated. The cult took advantage of that and it sealed his involvement

I also lean toward it being true, because EM eventually left his wife for another costar. Cheating with costars is easy to make into a habit.

The difference was she was able to wear heels with Urban. Cruise insisted she wear flats so not to appear taller.

She did have an affair during that film and she did get pregnant, but it was not with Ewan McGregor.
I know this because a friend of mine worked on that movie.
