If Union or Arlington [or NVA] were going GA they would have already announced it because they wouldn't be bound by ECNL tryout rules and timing and would want to race SYC for first in the area tryouts.

All of these parents “in the know” is a joke. VRSC set up the academy for school and training. It’s already got the infrastructure to promote to a system many DCU kids are already doing with remote schooling and training twice a day. The real announcement is that VRSC’s next investment is purchasing Loudoun/NVA, their facilities, etc and developing the MLSN channel with GA. Loudoun/NVA will be a name like Barca in Loudoun County soon enough. One that folks still remember but is irrelevant and doesn’t come up in most conversations any more.
