If true -- the move to GA will kill the girl's side. They can still fill the slots but VDA, Union, Arlington will pick up the top girls.

Have you not been following? Union is going GA. Arlington won't stay back and will probably follow. The girls side will be fine.

Union will now only be BRYC and VYS. McLean will exit, become their own entity again, and get GA for girls and mls next 2 for guys. It’s the only card McLean can play to get out of their debacle of a relationship once again. Btw, McLean will have to settle for Ga on the girls side bc they’ll never get an ECNL spot back.

The question is who wu follow them to GA after two blown mergers and now a step back from ecbl girls to GA. I for one am not drinking that kool aide! Prepare for another bumpy spring of tryouts with a lot more girls at each tryout and stiffer competition!

That would be a tough pill for McLean to swallow, essentially gifting their ECNL Boys and Girls licenses to BRYC and Vienna less one year in. Seems desperate, unless the current financial model is unsustainable and this is the only option to survive?

And FVU trolled NVA on IG this week - reposted imyouthsoccer X post about how no GA girl is committed to a Top 25 or P4 college this year; it’s all ECNL girls. Seems like FVU did that to encourage NVA girls to tryout at FVU since NVA is going GA.
