I think the delay in clearing DH suggests that they are fully investigating. But, per the case with a similar scenario linked above, a DH being cleared may not mean, that he is in fact, innocent. The role of DH hear remains to be clarified.

This is what I'm thinking too. DH with his LE background was likely communicating with JR in ways that are harder to track. JR was likely more loose with his communications. It may be hard to match stories up (DH vs what JRs friends are reporting to LE).

What in the world? We have no indication these two people had ever communicated before that morning. This is total rank speculation.

No, actually one report said that the victim was known to at least one person in the household.

The police said he was "not unknown" to the adults in the house. Go listen to the actual FCPD press conference. Whatever turns out to be true, there's literally nothing anywhere else (other than our resident crazy poster) to indicate there was a relationship between any of these people.

What do you think not unknown means?

I think it means that there was not a clear connection between all these people. Otherwise, you'd just say "known" or "prior [work/personal/social] relationship." It's kind of a weird and deliberate choice of words, like they knew of his existence or barely knew him.

Disagree. It means the police don't want the public to know what the connection is.

It looks like the house is going on the market tomorrow. So sad.

I find that hard to believe.

Would you want to stay in that house where your wife and another person were murdered?

DP but I’m guessing police still consider it a crime scene.

Maybe they were avoiding the words "swinging" and "cuckholding" out of decency at that time if it turned out not to be relevant to the deaths?

Or it could be that it's not true other than inside your head. Something to consider.

Either of us could be correct, something to consider.

The husband has been back in the house for over a week along with other adults (his parents?) and his daughter. It's no longer a scene being actively investigated.

Well, given I walk my dogs by there every day, I do in fact know. Oh, and their husky is also there.
