How can you tell if someone is conservative?

Anonymous
Dropping "nanny state". "woke", or "critical race theory" into conversations randomly. If she sneers while saying any of those, you will know for sure.

What is sad is that people don’t realize this. My sarcastic post actually got deleted. People truly think this is real.

- yet someone keeps bumping this thread.

Is it the troll? Or just a stupid person too ignorant to know better?

I'm a conservative woman. I work, am ivy league educated, pro-birth control, pro-choice, etc. The stereotypes aren't helpful. In my case, I became conservative (despite disagreeing about many things) once I got the memo on what teacher's unions are doing to education. I'm also disgusted at the prospect of spending 3.5t, respect law enforcement, and didn't appreciate not just having my window broken in the "peaceful protesting" but came to resent that I couldn't even dare mention that anything un-peaceful happened. Bye.

IF YOU ARE NOT PRO-LIFE, YOU ARE *NOT* A CONSERVATIVE!!

If you can't work the caps lock key, you aren't making the rules.

Why not? I consider myself pro-life, I think life begins at conception. I think there’s a sanctity to the life that a woman carries in her womb. But I also respect that women need to make decisions for themselves with regards to abortion.

What should you do about it?

Nothing. They're everywhere and in your neighborhood. 🙄

I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016. But, when he won, the next day when I dropped my kids off at their NW DC school, there were literally parents who were crying and holding each other in their grief

Does the fact that I found that hilarious make me a bad person 🤣

Yes. Trump was a dumpster fire and everyone knew it.

Well, the alternative was Hillary. I’ll take 4 years of Trump over that any day.

And watching grown liberal men weep into their soy lattes was just fantastic.

I’ll admit I voted for Trump in 2020, mostly out of spite.

I avoid them. We have block parties and I let my kids know who not to engage with. As a POC I abhor the current Republican Party. People who vote GOP are not sane. They’ll try to smile and make nice and then go vote for policies that will hurt my family and our future. Frankly GTFO if you’re a Republican. I don’t want to make nice.

Simple answer to the thread title: It's like the "joke" about vegans: They'll tell you

Haha I like you. I also laughed!!

I also voted for Trump in 2020 because I knew he was the only politician people would hold accountable.

Harass their children and then scream racist and try to get them fired seems to be the answer du jour. Democracy and all.

Yes, the scary reality is that diversity of opinion is not allowed. Pretty soon, the wrong Netflix download (lachapelle) will yield a crowd doxxing your family. The illiberal left has somehow managed to out-wacky the right.

Very true.

Can we stop pretending that there is anything conservative about the republican party/trumpers. Clearly this collective pov is quite extreme.
