BESSENT TELLS SKY NEWS AN INTERNATIONAL COALITION COULD PROTECT SHIPS IN STRAIT OF HORMUZ

I mean, ya, this is the kind of thing you line up before hand....and maybe others would participate if the president wasn't bad mouthing them, imposing tariffs and otherwise acting like a lone wolf.

That sounds like something the Treasury Secretary, a former hedge fund manager, would know a lot about. Maybe we should ask the real estate developer or 0-4 for their opinions.

The US military can’t open the strait of hormuz because of what the Iranians have on shore. The Iranians have been blowing up port facilities at the ports the US use in the gulf. The Iranians can hit any target they choose in the gulf at will.

Iranian missiles and drones are still being launched. The Iranian regime is still functioning at a high level. Oil prices are climbing. LNG prices are sky high with physical shortages not speculators driving the pricing increase. Allied oil facilities are easily hit by Iranian attacks. Now oil tankers are burning.

What’s happening at US airbase in the gulf? Is this where all the US casualties are coming from? How many long distance radar arrays have been taken out? How many do we have left in inventory? Are US planes being hit on the ground?

Everyone is saying the military is doing a great job. Are they really? Has anything changed? Do results count or is it just the number of bombs being dropped? This reminds me of Vietnam and body counts. Does not seem like what they are bombing for billions of dollars a day is accomplishing anything besides hardening resolve.

Why is no one asking these questions? Whats it going to look like in a week? What’s it going to look like in a month?

Kegsbreath, Drumpf, and Lying Levitt will never tell. You will only hear lethality and no terms of engagement from those three.

If Iran gets nuked, that's Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, western China, Russia and others affected. If Israel gets nuked, Jordan, Iraq, Iran bear the brunt of it.

Likewise what's the point of Kim seizing the moment to blow up Seoul? If he succeeded, he'd inherit ruins that he does not have the resources to rebuild.

You mean Kim Jon Un doesn't have the Epstein class to build him golf courses and beach resorts?

We could actually send ICE there to fight and solve multiple problems at once, plus we’d get the added bonus of seeing them so something useful and patriotic for the first time.

And send every person in a detention facility with them and make it a War of the Roses thing with them getting to keep IRAN if they win

What real data is there on civilian targets being hit vs IRGC?

Hmm, let's begin with the 150+ adolescent girls and their teachers.

COULD is the operative word. Now WOULD the USA be able to cobble together an international coalition after the disrespect we have shown them the last fourteen months. It will not be like the coalition after 9/11 for sure.

For a self-inflicted problem.

The secretary of energy says that it hasn’t happened yet because “we’re simply not ready.” Trump should’ve thought about that before he started this war. Practically every country in the world is being affected by the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.

I think this will go down as one of the biggest self-inflicted disasters we (the Republicans) have ever inflicted on our country and the world. I think we will be feeling the negative consequences for decades.

The only possible silver linings are a push to green energy that we actually go along with this time and no more money to Israel.

What is a navy escort going to accomplish besides serving as a target itself?

I am sure the Iranians have there underwater drones in the water and on standby. As soon as US ships start to escort tankers the underwater drones will be activate. The US navy is not set up to handle that. Remember in addition to the underwater drones there will be missiles and drones flying through the air.

Some of them are likely conversos and therefore eligible for Israeli citizenship.
