I think this will go down as one of the biggest self-inflicted disasters we (the Republicans) have ever inflicted on our country and the world. I think we will be feeling the negative consequences for decades.

The only possible silver linings are a push to green energy that we actually go along with this time and no more money to Israel.

I am sure the Iranians have there underwater drones in the water and on standby. As soon as US ships start to escort tankers the underwater drones will be activate. The US navy is not set up to handle that. Remember in addition to the underwater drones there will be missiles and drones flying through the air.

Some of them are likely conversos and therefore eligible for Israeli citizenship.

Strictly speaking the United States plus Israel would make it international. But Bessent is probably lying. No one is going to join us in a coalition after a decade of Trump’s America First and I alone can fix it.

Exactly. The US Navy isn’t omnipotent. They have finite capabilities. Iran has only been preparing for this eventuality for a gazillion years. And now with the advent of drone technology ships are more vulnerable than ever.

I have never been more disgusted with Republicans than I am now. Starting an endless war with Iran has got to be the dumbest thing the US has ever done. 13 days in and there’s still no plan.

Having the most powerful navy and Air Force in the world, as the US does, is not always enough to win the overall battle.
