LOL. I see what you did there. ba-damp-bump! |
|
It's over before it even starts.
Pelosi caved and there will be a trial controlled by McConnell ....... Trump will be exonerated ......... and the Democrats can cry wee wee wee, all the way home!
|
She’s getting all the traitors to their oath and their country on record. |
Caved? You think history will treat any Senator that sweeps this under the rug kindly? Do you think 2020 voters in purple and blue states will treat them kindly? |
DP. Yeah, she caved. She never got what she said she was holding out for. She got no concessions. McConnell will run this as he sees fit, and it will be a much more fair process than what the House did. I think most Americans think this whole thing is a joke. To show how much of a joke it is - behold Adam Smith, D-Washington. Yesterday morning he stated that he thought it was time for the articles to be passed to the Senate. Within hours of saying that, he backtracked and said he "misspoke." Looks like he was called to the principal's office after his initial statement. Lesson learned by Adam Smith. Don't cross Nancy, or you will lose your committee assignments and chair positions. |
+1 Pushing to hold a fair trial is never a bad move. |
Also, we’re still talking about impeachment. She kept it in the news. And with Bolton offering to testify, GOP Senators will need to decide: be complicit by not calling Bolton, or be open to fair trial, and call him. I’m grateful Pelosi held them. She’s finally playing like a Republican. |

Brilliant move by speaker Pelosi. She shaped the narrative and even a war with Iran couldn’t save the repubs from it.
Well done! |
Amazing how delusional some Democrats are when it comes to impeachment. Much of the country does not give a rat's ass about impeachment. Don't bother to cite national polls - they are distorted by states like California and New York. In the swing states and much of middle America, no one even talks about impeachment. If you don't believe me ask candidates who hold town halls whether it is candidates who are running for House and Senate seats or even Democratic candidates seeking the nomination: there are hardly any questions about impeachment. Sorry Pelosi, Schiff and the other clowns in the Democratic party blew it. After the hearings and the articles of impeachment passed, support for impeachment did not change or actually went down. The Democrats in the House could have sought to enforce subpoenas to force witnesses to testify but they were in such a hurry to impeach .......... and now they want a do over in the Senate! Did I say the Democrats were delusional? |
| Every Republican Senator already was going to go down in history as voting that their President is above the law. Now they will also be remembered for refusing to hear witness testimony or demanding White House records before doing so. Eventually all that evidence will become public and they will have no defense for their dishonorable conduct. |
Cool. Now lets see what happens when a Republican crosses Trump. Especially if that Republican is a veteran and former POW. |
Maybe you need to get out of YOUR bubble? |
Hilarious ........ coming from someone who thinks that DCUM reflects public opinion in the country! Poll: Impeachment is helping Trump in 3 key battleground states https://www.axios.com/trump-impeachment-poll-michigan-pennsylvania-wisconsin-6776a580-9a0f-4362-a8a7-e6180f18ed14.html Did someone say something about the need to "get out of YOUR bubble"? |
