I’m going to have to call you out for being untruthful. Most posters who disagree with their actions, were very happy for them when they married. I know I was, as were my girlfriends who all also dvr’d the wedding. I’m white. Please do not play the race card and misconstrue the thoughts of the posters here. I was rooting for her. I was over the moon happy for them. But I think what they have done is horrible and a slap in the face to Harry’s family. She has no family, except her mother, so now she will distance Harry from his. If this had been 5 years down the road, and she had really tried, I MAY feel differently. But what they have done is wrong and I feel she planned everything out. She cut out anyone who cautioned Harry, out of obvious concern, about moving too quickly with her....including Will. She is divorced and had a boyfriend when she started dating Harry. Please, don’t try and paint her as some innocent, hurt party. I thought they were a beautiful couple, watched and loved the wedding, was so excited when she became pregnant, but during her pregnancy you could feel her pulling away. They couldn’t live next to Will and Kate. They spent millions renovating a cotta

I agree that they shouldn't be cutting themselves off from the royal family. I'm really hurt it's taken that turn. But the hatred expressed towards her is stupid to put it mildly. You think she planned it all out? How can you even imagine that? It really reflects your own mindset rather than hers, because I can't fathom anyone ACTUALLY doing that.

My mindset is my mindset. Meghan wasn’t unattached when she agreed to a date with Harry. That right there is not someone who has the personal conscious to become and remain a royal. She’s happy until something better comes along. I, myself have never agreed to a date while also dating someone else quite consistently. It’s just not nice. Add to that, she mailed her wedding rings to her ex-husband and she was estranged from her entire family, with the exception of her mother, and those are huge red flags. All the fiasco leading up to the wedding where she ended up having exactly ONE family member there for her. Her mother sat alone. I felt very sad for her mom that she appeared so alone during this huge and televised wedding. She shared Charles with Camilla. No aunt, uncle, cousin, no one....just her new “celebrity friends” like Oprah. No attempt to include her father and give him the chance to meet Harry. She just does not care about anyone who cannot advance her agenda in life. She and her dad were very close while she was growing up, and yes, he did boneheaded things surrounding the engagement. But it is my feeling that he did it mostly out of hurt. Why not at least let her Dad meet Harry BEFORE the royal announcement of the engagement. It would have been a kind thing to do if only a gesture to her dad. She made it impossible for him to attend the wedding. She could have put all that crap behind her and at least let him walk her down the aisle. The weak and unfaithful Charles was not a better choice. Not one male family member she could allow in? No, because it was ALL about poor Meghan and how she was abandoned by her dad. He may not be perfect, but neither is she, and that would have been a chance to show the royal family that she had the grace of forgiveness, that family meant as much to her as it did to the royal family, but then there wouldn’t have been all the press leading up to the wedding. In my opinion, she thrives on chaos and being in the middle of it.

She held onto her pregnant belly as though someone would steal the baby from her womb, and she honestly just looked so weird and possessive. And possessive she is. She couldn’t follow in the steps of Diana and Kate and give the excited world a peek of her new baby....no, no no. She is special and she will do everything her way. That’s fine, but honestly, they came off as selfish jerks by refusing to let only his feet be seen. One thing I do agree with, is that she just could not stand being a royal but having to walk behind Kate. Meghan needs to be upfront and center. No second fiddle for her. And that is perfectly fine, but she knew the rules going in and she thought she would just do things her way, but found that’s not how things work. Honestly, how hard was her life? Celebrities get a million times more bad press than she can ever hope for, but they are smart enough to not read the tabloids and she should have done the same and been secure in herself and in her role in the royal family....they had her back and they accepted her. All the gossip about them not supporting her was just that, gossip. I was so excited to see Will, Kate, Harry and Meghan, THE FAB FOUR, getting along, putting a fresh face on the royals, and working towards less archaic protocols, but Meghan couldn’t even play nice for a few years. She gave it no chance. Who asks their husband to turn his back on his family and heritage because of some trashy gossip rags? Especially since she was so sure she was going to hit the ground running and was excited about her new role in life. You know who does that? Someone who has alienated almost their entire family and whose friends are celebrities or millionaires. No childhood friend stood up for Miss Markle at her wedding. After the press went nuts over Pippa in Kate’s wedding, no way was she chancing a repeat of that....not that she had a childhood friend to ask.

Sadly, I too fell for her fakeness. I was so excited when she and Harry were engaged, I thought she was gorgeous as a bride, and I was so excited she became pregnant so quickly. I just knew they would have the most adorable children. I’m an American and am disappointed in their actions so I cannot imagine how many in England feel now about the money they have spent on the royal couple who now want to reign as prince and princess in Canada. It stinks, it’s wrong, and soon they will fade away. I do believe had she not manipulated this little scheme, they would have been wildly popular for years to come. But their mask has fallen and they are exposed. OMG, how dare she not be able to use social media as she wanted. What a stupid and selfish reason to hurt Harry, and he will be hurt, and his family. The good thing, when things crumble, and they will, the royals will welcome Harry with open arms....Meghan will have no one but her child/children she will share custody of.

She wants to control how the press reports her (which is a big clue as to her entitled ego). But I think she's in for a rude surprise. Canada is not a place, methinks, where people warm to the concept of someone playing the grand lady and they have to kiss the ground she walked and not make fun of it.

I’m going to have to call you out for being untruthful. Most posters who disagree with their actions, were very happy for them when they married. I know I was, as were my girlfriends who all also dvr’d the wedding. I’m white. Please do not play the race card and misconstrue the thoughts of the posters here.
