US Capitol Breached by Trump's lunatics

“Too hurtful to my friend”? Was Pence actually referring to Trump? Could he have been referring to someone else who didn’t want him to certify the results? I can’t believe he actually thought Trump was his friend. I never took Pence for a completely gullible moron.

Truly it’s more incredible that the leader of the GOP is a man who tried to overthrow the government. He is literally what the founders were most afraid of and a good chunk of the electorate sees no problem with this and is planning on voting for him again. That is how deep the rot extends into the GOP.

Really, just saying "GOP" minimizes the problem. That is how deep the rot extends into our country.

Stop bothsidesing. The non-GOP part of this country has no interest in re-electing Trump or absolving him of his crimes. 90% of the GOP has made this their life’s mission.

I'm not trying to bothside the issue. The blame squarely rests on the GOP. But it's not like the Civil War, where you can just point to one part of the country as the rot. They are sprinkled throughout the country.

Here’s one “sprinkled throughout the country.”

“A former member of the Ohio National Guard, who investigators said went AWOL after President Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election, was arrested by the FBI on Tuesday and charged with assaulting officers at the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 attack.

Honigford, investigators said in an FBI affidavit, previously “stopped attending drill weekends” after Biden’s 2020 electoral victory over Donald Trump, “stating that his sister was sick and he needed to be available to help her and that he did not trust the current state of the country following the election of Joe Biden as president.” A witness said Honigford “was reported Absent Without Leave but permitted to remain in the Ohio Army National Guard until his Expiration Term of Service date on March 14, 2022.”

I’d bet money he’s signed up on the lists of people to come work for the GOP via Project 2025.

Wait I thought they were all Antifa so they should be charged by the DOJ! So confusing.

Cute that he thinks DOJ doesn’t already have all those tapes anyway.

The GOP needs to get their messaging straight. So these faces need to be blurred because they are loyal Republicans commiting treason, instead of "antifa crisis actors."

This is so dumb on so many levels. Does he seriously not realize DOJ had had these tapes for years? And why does he want to protect criminals from law enforcement?
