He is literally what the founders were most afraid of and a good chunk of the electorate sees no problem with this and is planning on voting for him again. I'm not trying to bothside the issue. The blame squarely rests on the GOP. But it's not like the Civil War, where you can just point to one part of the country as the rot. They are sprinkled throughout the country.
