exactly. Those MAGA and Trump only care about law and order if it's applied the way they want it to be applied, namely to minorities, and they will threaten and harass people who work in the law and judicial system if they come after them.

That Grassley thought he would be presiding is a two option thing. 1) Pence didn’t want to hurt Trump, his “friend.” (No, literally, that’s what Pence was thinking. It’s in the article.) 2) the USSS was going to do away with Pence, either temporarily or permanently. Pence’s spider senses were tingling and that’s why he refused to get into the car with USSS agents who were not his regular agents.

So much violence was on the table that day.
