My bet is she sends them over within the week. Her little presser today showed that she is a bit short-tempered at being questioned about holding onto the articles. When you have Democrats questioning the wisdom of such a move, you are losing.
I don't think Trump is pressing them at all. He is fundraising off this fiasco.

You know who IS pressuring her? Booker, Klobuchar, Warren, Sanders....... They have good reason to want to get this over with.

Mitch is changing the rules to force the transmission of the articles by January 12 or else face a quick non-Article based "trial" - I say go for it, it will backfire bigly because the American public does NOT support that kind of action at all.

What the MAGAts don't seem to understand is that it really doesn't matter if the Senate doesn't vote to remove him. He will always remain IMPEACHED. It's happened and it is not going to be reversed. He won't get removed and he will stay in office as an IMPEACHED PRESIDENT.

Furthermore, Nancy is hardly a "cornered rat" as another PP said. She has more smarts in her pinky finger than Trump, McConnell, Graham, Jordan, Gaetz and Nunes combined. She should not be underestimated. You'll see.

It is hilarious to see Democrats on this forum claiming a victory for Pelosi when she is going to end up caving without getting anything from McConnell.

For someone who is considered to be a savvy political strategist, she overplayed her hand. A trial will take place on terms that McConnell and the Republicans will decide. Trump will be exonerated and will win reelection in 2020.

The exoneration will be with zero Republican votes in favor conviction and between two and four Democratic senators who will vote to exonerate.

What a defeat for the Democrats only to be followed by Trump's reelection for another four years.

But, impeachment was so "urgent." Trump is a "national security risk." It has to be done quickly.
