What was your workout today?

Did you ride your bike with your kids? Hit Zumba? Make your 10,000 steps? Hit a new lifting P.R.? Whatever it is, share it, and let's support each other in staying motivated to be active every day!

I am doing "New Rules of Lifting for Women" from the book of the same name. Just started Stage 2 this morning. It's a weight lifting program, and it's the second time I'm doing it. Did it about 3 years ago. Each stage takes about a month.

Best work-out ever, and it transforms my body. I highly recommend the book. Before reading this, I never considered myself to be strong. Couldn't do a "real" push-up if you paid me. Now I knock-out sets of 15 without a problem.

5k followed with a hellacious TRX circuit that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Can't wait to do it again!

Nope. That is just wasteful of sleep time.

Ran about 6 miles this morning. Did a couple more in walking.

I couldn't run it continuously though, as my body was just not having it today. But I did run 6 - maybe walked about 3-4 miles mixed in, and later in the day.

Had my second c-section 5 weeks ago and went for my first run today. Did 60 secs running/90 secs walking for a half hour. Managed a 12 something overall pace and felt AWESOME when I was done.

Walked 18 holes and swung my golf clubs 100 times.

You go girl!

I didn't work out today, which is rare for me, but walked over a mile with DS in the stroller and chased after him all day, so I wasn't sedentary either.

Got a flyer in the mail for a bootcamp that looks like it would be great, but it appears to be only for SAHMs so no dice for me.
