I am doing "New Rules of Lifting for Women" from the book of the same name. Just started Stage 2 this morning. It's a weight lifting program, and it's the second time I'm doing it. Did it about 3 years ago. Each stage takes about a month.
Best work-out ever, and it transforms my body. I highly recommend the book. Before reading this, I never considered myself to be strong. Couldn't do a "real" push-up if you paid me. Now I knock-out sets of 15 without a problem. --almost 48 yr old mom and teacher |
| 5k followed with a hellacious TRX circuit that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Can't wait to do it again! |
| Just a power yoga class. Meant to do more but decided to drink instead. |
Did CrossFit at 6 AM. Now that's dedication, people

Nope. That is just wasteful of sleep time. |
| Zumba, baby! |

Ran about 6 miles this morning. Did a couple more in walking.
I couldn't run it continuously though, as my body was just not having it today. But I did run 6 - maybe walked about 3-4 miles mixed in, and later in the day. |
| Had my second c-section 5 weeks ago and went for my first run today. Did 60 secs running/90 secs walking for a half hour. Managed a 12 something overall pace and felt AWESOME when I was done. |
| Walked 18 holes and swung my golf clubs 100 times. |
You go girl! I didn't work out today, which is rare for me, but walked over a mile with DS in the stroller and chased after him all day, so I wasn't sedentary either. |
| Got a flyer in the mail for a bootcamp that looks like it would be great, but it appears to be only for SAHMs so no dice for me. |
