1. Landon - IAC Champs, winners of 15 straight, and a clean sweep of DC competition. The Bears put together a dominating performance against rival GP in the IAC championship last week. 2. Gonzaga - WCAC Champs. The Eagles and its elite senior class put on a stellar performance last night to de-thrown Cadets and bring the trophy back to Eye St. 3. St. Johns - WCAC runner-up. The young Cadets should be proud of the team's tremendous improvement from March. After a brutal non-league schedule, the Cadets put on a clinic against area teams. 4. Georgetown Prep - IAC runner-up. The gritty Hoyas put together a good season with two great wins over Bullis, Loyola Blakefield, and Don Bosco NJ. 5. Bullis - after a solid start to the season, including great wins over Spalding and Loyola Blakefield, the Bulldogs appeared to lose momentum down the stretch. 6. DeMatha - after a roller coaster of a Spring, including the dismal of their head coach in April, the Stags found a light and were hitting their stride in May when it mattered most. 7. PVI - first year head coach got the best out of the young Pathers. Expect PVI to make a run in the VISAAA playoffs this week. Don't sleep on Episcopal tonight in VISAA quarterfinals though. 8. Episcopal - The Maroon made gradual improvements over the course of this season. Big game tonight vs PVI in 2nd round of the VISAA playoffs. 9. Robinson - the NOVA public school power in VA largest state classification, is 15-0 and has been dominating teams all Spring. 10. St. James - the small boarding school from Hagerstown MD won its first ever MAC lacrosse banner. |

Yup! The problem seems to be SJC. Maybe if they were willing to schedule IAC teams later in the spring instead of the first week or two, IAC teams would schedule SJ's. |
|
Everyone plays non conference games at the beginning of the season. St. John’s isn’t doing anything different for the IAC. Soft |
St. John’s got beat yo |
He doesn’t do anything special compared to every other goalie. Definitely need a FO. |
Thanks for the analysis! |
Now that St. John’s is out of the way when is the Gonzaga vs Landon game being played? Everyone wanted it to happen but said St. John’s wasn’t interested. Put up or shut up. |
Would love to see a Landon vs Gonzaga rematch!
Would be epic! |
Y’all ask for too damn much!! Not a Landon fan but as young kids they both showed up for a midweek night game and battled it out. Great game, Landon won.
These kids give it their damn all, all season. Some of them playing through injuries already. Why have a 16 year old pop something and mess up his career because us adults are obsessed (I’m guilty too). |
GC should be on this list...Wins over Dematha and PVI - only losses SJC, GZ and Bullis. Understand the quarterfinal was lopsided...GZ Beat PVI and DM by similar margins - give GZ a second crack at either one of those teams and it would have been a similar outcome. |
1. Landon
2. Gonzaga 3. St. Johns 4. Georgetown Prep 5. Bullis 6. Good Counsel - Solid 4th in WCAC 7. Dematha - played hard 8. PVI 9. Robinson - undefeated is undefeated 10. Episcopal The VA playoffs will likely scramble the bottom half. There are no honorable mentions as the level of play drops off a cliff after the top 10. |
Anyone know the link for today’s MIAA semi’s? |
DM should be ahead of GC. EHS plays PVI tonight. |
