Weird situation with new neighbor from high school - WWYD

I still think OP doesn’t remember, or want to remember, cruel behavior. OP, please just ask your neighbor her side of things. You may grow from what you hear and maybe she does deserve an apology all these years later.

DP. How did you get that from PP's post? It's possible that they were making assumptions based on something that happened to them, but there's no reason for what you said to be the case.

Ok, but that’s wild speculation on your part. Did you read the follow up? Is it not possible the neighbor misremembers or thinks OP is someone else? Because your insistence that obviously OP must have done something seems out of place and bordering on fantastical.

Several of us actually said we were bullied - I was physically bullied and subjected to vandalism - and said we’d never behave like this new neighbor and don’t harbor all this resentment and pain for those that bullied us. I recognize it was a cycle and I feel bad for them. The posters that insist OP must have done something because the new neighbor is behaving oddly need to stop projecting and seriously make me terrified of ever being tried by jury. There is a total refusal to move beyond deeming OP a bully because this new neighbor said they didn’t get along. It’s wild.

I have kept my eye on this thread for OP to come back with some clarification or memory of why the woman would feel the way she does, but I didn't see anything. Did OP finally come back? I believe she does come back, but only anonymously to defend herself. Her initial post did not reflect well on her. That is why so many feel she was not nice to that woman and has probably treated women that way since.
