Why do people hate Disney?

I also love the fat shaming happening on here too.

Harpies.

There does seem to be correlation with obesity and love for Disney vacation/Disney cruises

1. How is that relevant here?

2. What’s your evidence of it?

Considering 40% of Americans are obese, there’s a correlation between obesity and nearly every type of vacation Americans take.

Way more than 40% of the people I saw at Disney were obese. More like 80%

Again, why is that relevant? Why did you feel the need to bring up people’s weight?

These must be physically fit obese people, considering I easily do 20,000 steps a day at Disney.

There was no two week cruise that sailed out in late March 2020, the cruise ship ports in Florida had all closed on March 13th! I know that because I live here but Google yourself and you'll see.

TONS? No.

You’re saying every obese person is in a wheelchair?

Just stop. I know you desperately want to hate on this place, but just stop.

True! I am not overweight and would consider myself decently fit (?) but I was TIRED after five, 8+ hour days at the park. And my feet hurt. IDK if I would've been able to do it if I were obese and/or super out of shape.

If anyone tries to explain why they are not interested in vacationing at Disney, they are accused of not being fun, not doing it right, or trying to feel superior. We’ve taken our kids to Disney CA and FL because we had other reasons to visit close by. We’ve also taken them to Thailand, Iceland, Paris, Hong Kong, Panama, and Aruba. Disney’s fine and we had a nice couple of days there, but it wasn’t better than our other vacations by a long shot.

I think it’s boiled down to “don’t yuck my yum” to quote Cynthia Nixon. I won’t crap on your vacations that I wouldn’t like, and you show me the same courtesy.

You mean like not calling people who go to Disney trailer trash, like a post on this page of the thread?

Yeah.

So classy, Disney haters. Keep on being your wonderful selves.

I think you misunderstood my post. We are on the same side. No one has to like a particular vacation but shouldn’t diss others who do.

Be honest. Have you ever seen that many wheelchairs in use in one place?

Same. I’m 5’4” 125 and my feet absolutely hurt too.

I was directing my message to the Disney haters. I know you’re not one.
