Regardless, it was not late March, as you alleged. It was early March, when there were few restrictions. So your judgment of them was really unmerited. |
I don’t know why people are arguing if cruises are or aren’t happening. Does it matter? This thread is about how terrible Disney is and why we hate it. The only thing I think would be worse than going to actual Disney World would be going on the floating version of Disney World and stuck on a giant ship with a bunch of yahoo Disney die-hards |
People were already warning them before they left. Covid-19 was already in the news. They returned 3/20 after the US shut down and other countries were denying entry. But they went anyway because they had planned and saved so long. They were diehard Disney defenders with updates every day about how clean the ship was and how they were taken care of. I mention this because other posters commented how they don’t understand how adults like Disney. I am providing an example of a group of grown-a$$ couples with no children who all chose to have their weddings at Disney and go on Disney cruises every couple of years. They live near Disney and eat and drink at the restaurants. Other posters were saying 80% of the clientele were obese. I don’t know about that statistic but these 5-6 couples are morbidly so. Even after the cruise they continued to gather without masks to eat and drink and even attended a concert. |
Go away, harpie. |
Why are you talking about their weight? It’s awful. Just stop. |
Oh and the 80% thing isn’t a statistic; it’s something PP pulled out of their ass. |
Do you get a special mouse ear badge for defending Disney? Because someone(s) has made it their occupation to shoot everyone not lock step with the merchandising. |
![]() Intellectually impoverished Obese Vulgar Simple Wahoo That’s going to get you angry responses. If you don’t want those responses, don’t throw out ad hominem attacks. |
Hmm. The descriptions sound about right. Thanks for making a post that has them all in one place |
If you look back further or you’ll see that any time if someone post anything less than glowing there’s someone that immediately responds. And not all of it is negative and using that language. Many are simply saying it’s not my cup of tea. Which people are allowed to think without it being some enormous dis. Isn’t isn’t magical magical kingdom for everybody and that’s OK. Promise. |
NP. That's what I have seen, too. Let's test the theory. ---> Honestly, for me, it's not my cup of tea. I look for qualities in vacations that I'm not going to find at the Disney establishments. Nothing against them or people that enjoy them (of which I know many! and have visited with a few who lived in Celebration), but it's not to my personal taste. |
No one cares about that. Our anger comes from the posters throwing out unnecessary ad hominem attacks. Don’t act like that hasn’t happened on here. |
And there you go. |
Well, I think we’ve definitely answered the OP’s question about why some people hate Disney. The answer is that the people who really hate Disney are classist, sizist snobs with a really nasty streak, and who really like to stereotype people. Thanks for making that so clear, PPs! |
