I just saw all those post about the 07s, would love to know which parent on the team is posting all of this. My son is on the 07 Reds also and my tip is for you to save your time. Both josh and Kieran are great coaches and this is a strong age group, has been since the start. My son has been with this team since U8 and they are not perfect, but a competitive team that is fun to watch. I won’t debate the merits of CCL or Ecnl, but they have played teams from all leagues and always hold their own. I just think you are debating with someone who knows nothing about the team and generalizes about the club.

No - he's disagreeing with people who
(a) think SYA is indeed a strong, competitive team just a little short of the top tier and/or
(b) don't agree that Arlington loads its red team roster with ECNL players every time they play SYA.
(c) find it offensive that he resorts to calling people who disagree with him "dbag", and disingenuous conversations with himself.

hmmmm Trashing a club in which are not affiliated. Last I checked this was a CYA and SYA merger thread. Not I’m am Arlington parent stereotypical parent, who needs to give my opinion on the topic. And related it back to myself. It’s youth soccer pal get a life.

Just to add to that, my guess is there at least three people

1. The guy that noted that SYA is competitive, but not top tier and compared them to Arlington's second team.
2. Me - I've posted several times purely in order top refute the untrue assertion that Arlington plays top team players on its second team in order to win games. I've also noted that the SYA dude appears to be posting lies backwards and forwards to himself.
3. At least one, and possibly more posters, who have
(a) supported my position that Arlington does not play ECNL players on the red team (this poster may be the same as the first poster)
(b) directly knocked SYA (I'm pretty sure from tone and content that this is a third poster)

I agree that there is more than one SYA poster - but you if you look closely you can see the same guy posting many of the posts (there are some giveaways that it is the same guy) - and pretty much all the objectionable ones.

My kid played for Bashir a few years ago. Outstanding coach, the players and parents liked him. He's not someone who yells and screams like some coaches I know. Takes time to teach during practice.
