They corrected that and said the conversation took place on Wednesday. |
It looks like the person is covered from head to toe-- that looks like a hood. Nothing to indicate race or they probably would have said so. |
Exactly! I was thinking "keep up buddy"! |
Hmmmm, beginning to think this was a random attack? |
You can see a slight profile at 0:15 of video... |
May not be a random attack. I feel like if it was the person would killed everyone and left. This looked like they were therefor a long time trying to get something and then they tried to cover their tracks by burning the house. They seemed scared someone will figure out who they were. A random attack won't spend so much time there. Also I don't feel like a random will go so close to where the VP lives.
There's so much security everywhere. There is more to this story. I bet the dad pissed someone off. |
if the deceased housekeeper had called herself, she would have spoken Spanish to her husband or to the other housekeeper, which the hostage taker wouldn't have understood. If Saavas had called the housekeeper's husband, the latter would have asked to speak to her. It looks like they had already been taken hostage Wednesday evening, and the hostage taker was planning to spend the night there. |
What is an odd (coincidence?) is that the torched Porsche was found so close to the father's place of business. If it was a random attack, dropping the vehicle off there just seems so strange -- I mean, of all places!
Pure speculation here...wonder if murderer worked at father's company and had the day off on Thursday? Knew the area well enough to know the car wouldn't be noticed at the back of this parking lot. Is he holding a package or container of accelerant in the video? |
Hoodie and dark clothing and all covered. Seems more "professional" than a random crime of opportunity assailant. |
Yeah. He's done this before. |
It just seems strange that ONE person could have done all this by himself. Maybe they're still trying to find video of car dropping someone else off somewhere? I think they should have released car picture on Thursday night. |
I dunno . . . my kids know to wear hoodies and dark clothing when they "ghost" our neighbors (it's a neighborhood tradition, folks, chill) at Halloween. |
I don't understand why the car movements (at least out of Upper NW) cannot be tracked. There are so many traffic cameras all over...to get to the Beltway you need to go out River Road, Chain Bridge or through the city.
I don't understand why this car's movements cannot be tracked. |
There is more than one person I bet. He just torched the car and is running to meet someone in another car. I live nearby too and am so freaked out. |
I'm pretty sure a hoodie is thug gear 101. I still think this is like the triple murder in Georgetown at Starbucks. Couple of thugs who were looking for a quick buck and things got out of hand. |
