School Cancelation

I’m more than happy to have my DC private kids home again tomorrow. I imagine the traffic will be terrible and with a two hour delay likely what’s the point of sending them out on the roads for 3 hours of school and lunch. I’d rather they stay home.

This is just one of many. My neighborhood has narrow, hilly streets. Multiple plows got stuck and many struggle to pass just because of their size.

There is no point trying to reason with them. Most of the posters on this thread want schools closed until the last of the snow melts.

I drove by school today and it looked rough. Families around school have shared that it’s not great in the surrounding area either. I think it was the right call.

I’ll settle for having my neighborhood plowed and the main access road more than one lane for all traffic.

Well, clearly your family is the only one they should worry about. I recommend you call the HOS and tell them this.

I am in the surrounding area and it is fine. More likely a few special families complained they can’t get to school so they closed it.

Ice doesn't really care what idiots do or don't believe. It's gonna be there until it melts. Pity the idiots won't melt along with it.
