I think people will sign. Folks who come off as very liberal democrats are openly talking about the recall and sharing that they didn’t vote for him. Allen supporters are trying to spin this as “Republicans” or “MAGA” but we all know that’s nonsense. People are fed up with crime, don’t want to see their property values go down, and are tired of Allen siding with criminals.

This is an effort led by notable Democratic operatives. Only the softest and dumbest people would have that fear.

I'm glad. These serious people need to methodically take on the whole lot of them. Just like Republicans have an obligation to speak out on Trump (for the record, I pick Nikki), Democrats have an obligation to speak out on the bad actors / bad policies within their party. This is a cross aisle issue, and they have my support just like I hope I have their support on living in a thriving city with lower crime. America should be bigger then "parties'. For the first time in a long time, I feel hope when it comes to the people holding the power.

I'm confused, are you talking about the Recall Allen campaign or Janeese's reelection campaign (more than half of donor support is from outside Ward 4 and more than 10 percent is from outside DC)?

I just looked at the list - several donors did not give their full names, jobs, or addresses. Does the campaign have to refund the money? If not, this seems like a donation loophole.

It’s almost like progressive criminal justice reform policies of coddling criminals is not working. Charles Allen I hope is paying attention. Of course he’s not, but it would be nice. I wish the dc USAO “we can’t prosecute out of this crisis” office would see that their lenient no prosecuting ways exacerbate crime.

I think the recall has a real chance. This nonsense probably makes it more likely.
