He is now the de facto celebrity spokesperson for male “abuse” victims, or something to that effect. |
Because she wanted to date a super famous actor. She might still in that moment believed he was about to push his sister down the stairs. How is that to conceive of? |
Unlike AH (in her Op ed she wrote: "Then two years ago, I became a public figure representing domestic abuse..." and the WaPo described her : "Amber Heard is an actress and ambassador on women’s rights at the American Civil Liberties Union"), JD has never claimed to be a spokesperson for male abuse victims. Whether you or the world see him as a spokesperson is irrelevant. And for the record, I don't think he should be a spokesperson for any cause either. |
And yuck. What a spineless twOt. No sisterhood. There isn’t a sisterhood. If you are abused by your partner you albetter be prepared for a lonely road. Feel deeply for Amber. |

It’s remarkable - and also deeply depressing - how many activists, attorneys, and leaders in the space of human rights, domestic violence, and women’s rights have come out in support of Amber Heard and have strongly condemned this verdict.
I don’t give a sh*t who Jason Mamoa or Bella Hadid “likes”. The fact that people knowledgeable about domestic violence are speaking out in the wake of this verdict speaks volumes. |
What about brothers, only sisters? |
Besides people who live and grift on twitter who came out for her? |
Agreed. The celebrity coven is about power and status, of course they're closing ranks and siding with him. |
ACLU is suing him for 86k claiming it’s what it cost them to prepare paperwork evidence for the trial. Hope they never get it. |

For the AH fans who claimed Johnny will never be in a blockbuster again or whatever -- Wall Street Journal reports his Dior cologne is selling out. His star power is through the roof; a blockbuster comeback is imminent.

| Really amazed that people assume Johnny was the first one who laid a hand and therefore Amber must have lived the relationship in self-defense instead of the other way around—especially when she has the proven history of DV and was recorded many times admitting to instigating fights. Mind boggling, really. |

French person here. France is notoriously patriarchal and objectifies women. Dior has no incentive to drop Johnny Depp from a perfume literally called Wild! It suits him down to the ground. Also, I couldn't care less who won that trial. They're both rather scummy. Depp has been perfectly understood and perfectly cast multiple times in Hollywood. He's a great pirate - no morals. Hollywood does not sell ethics. It sells dreams, and often dreams are not about good people... just about entertaining people. |
| JD's going to play King Louis, fliming in France this year. |
| I love how Dior stood behind JD and refused to give in to cancel culture nonsense. |
