BB and AP went to NY together a month before the grisly murders. Wonder what they told CB about that? The prosecution has photos of them dated January. She knew BB had had affairs since early in their marriage. I cannot imagine how she would feel about JPM, who had just renewed for a 2nd year in October. She was not as close to her as she had been the prior AP but she surely had concerns about the rx with BB by that point?

Why would someone want to continue an affair with a guy who is so disturbing, makes Scott Peterson type comments, is not particularly attractive and is not even a high earner? People who have met him or who knew him when young also describe him as having a "creepy" vibe.

His lawyer claimed he was coaching teams for young kids, who willingly had their kids around him?

My heart goes out to the young daughter and the families and friends of Christine and Joe.

In the DC News Now video there were chains on the bed along with the knife. Perhaps CB was restrained prior to JR's arrival? I still think chemical restrains/drugging most likely, sleeping pill in the wine worked in France, why not NoVA?

Two humans who were greatly valued by others gone, a little girl with no mommy, and for WHAT? Almost no chance at all that AP and BB are not going to spend most of their lives in prisons.

Hoping the little girl has some support and is not too socially isolated. Loss upon loss upon loss. Really hope she can be reunited with Christine's family and former AP who she loved. I don't see how she doesn't end up with lifelong attachment issues.

It’s her ex-husband’s (BBs fathers) wife. Which led me to her profile and her ex-husband’s profile of which Juliana is friends with all of them!

I wasn't suggesting chains necessarily, but restrained in some way. Then JR could have been ambushed in home, held at gunpoint then shot. BB would want as much control over the victims as possible I would think.

Who knows, maybe they are all pooling $ since a lawyer who helps control AP is the biggest help to BB?

If his father walked away and remarried, no reason BB couldn't do the same except he did not want to split the $ and could not afford the same lifestyle on his salary alone. Esp with a young low earning partner. From comments to other affair partner seems to have been toying with erasing CB from the equation for a while. Have to believe there was a lot of life insurance on her. No idea if there was a payout in these circumstances.

She had to suspect something between BB and AP, the energy had to be far different than with prior AP. Denial can be powerful but what a shitty few months leading to an untimely end. I wonder if she would have re-matched that October or if it was BB pushing for it? JPM did not seem close to the child like the former AP, per posts here and elsewhere she vented that she was jealous of attention BB paid the little girl.

Wish Christine had left him. She would be alive, supported by her many friends and loved ones. Joe would be doing the goofy larping thing.

That was the narrative BB and AP came up with. And it's an obvious lure to Joe who's profile indicated he was into cuck scenes (and who was open about it in his life). Very curious WHO exactly Joe met with in person, was it BB and AP or BB and CB? Or BB and one of his other affair partners? If so that person could be charged as an accessory. I'm guessing not CB since otherwise the claims by authorities that the profile was set up by someone posing as her makes no sense.

This is confusing to me because didn’t Joe have photos of Christine? He would have known if he was meeting the person who matched the photo.

Didn't JPM's lawyer bring that up at a hearing? Surely LE has access to the profile that was posted for her and they have consistently claimed it was created by BB and/or AP.

It's all something of a red herring, esp re: her case. She said she shot him when he was on the ground, not a threat. He's dead now. That is enough to convict her without all these salacious attempts at misdirection and smearing of the 2 victims, may they RIP.

Will be interesting to hear more of the details they have about the ruse and how Joe was lured.
