The Trump women and their fashion mishaps thread

Melania looks lovely. The dress might not photograph in a picture as it is in real life.

Solid gold dancer ivanka?

What exactly goes on at the bottom of the skirt? Confused . . .

It’s a ruffle. Never seen one before?

The pics that followed made it clear. Where the lining reflected light it just looked white to me like there was empty space and the white was something in the background.

Definitely don't like how the skinny straps tie together in the back. I would have thought just, well, straps, and leave it at that. Sort of like the green rhinestone thingies on the shoulders of the lizard sleeves green dress, why?

Very pretty. I love navy blue for a formal gown. It's always a little unexpected.

Yes! And navy is less harsh than black (it does matter once you get older).

I liked her hair at the inauguration, very elegant. I don’t know why she never puts it up.

A lot of women think they are not sexy if their hair is up. And some women need to give that vibe all the time, it's so weird. My suspicion is that she might look a little manly from certain angles, her face is just very angular and there is really nothing to give it softness but hair.

Melania looks great in that navy dress.

I’ve never liked that style of waist (thin elastic - pouf - thin elastic), but overall it’s a decent dress.

It's got like a mini uniboob all around the waist.

The straps are all wrong on that dress, too skinny, lingerie straps!

Which is precisely why I never liked that style. It gives even very slender women like Melania a spare tire.

I see straps like that on sundresses. And mostly on younger women and girls.

Yes. Not 37-year-old women at work functions.

Thanks to someone in the Politics forum for flagging this head smacking choice

"We will never forget," it says under an American flag. The first lady's Twitter account posted a version of the picture, too.

If you enlarge the picture, you can make out the white trim tracing across her back, on the coat belt, and up and down the split in the coat back, which is closed with a button tab.

Aha! It shows a tower with a plane flying into it, declared eagle-eyed users alert to anything that can be used to criticize POTUS via FLOTUS.

Melania Trump, after all, was harshly mocked in 2018 when she wore a jacket with the words "I REALLY DON'T CARE DO U?" scrawled on the back for a humanitarian visit to migrant children separated from their parents at the border.

Critics have been on alert ever since, in search of FLOTUS outfits to disparage.

"I’m sure I’m not the first one to spot this but who in the world thought it was a good idea for Melania to wear this coat in the 9/11 photo. It legit looks like an object is flying into a tower or the Washington Monument," tweeted Ashley Spivey.

Additionally I think Melanie and Donny Dum Dum are getting their spray tans from the same person now - and that that person hates them

Oh, FFS.
This is absolute proof positive that some people will search for ANYTHING to criticize anyone in the Trump family about.
This is an absolute ludicrous, idiotic observation and USA Today should be ashamed for printing this stupid story.
