US has no good options in Ukraine

Jews are more than aware that Ukrainians were constantly committing pogroms against them and joined Fascist kill squads en masse. I am confused as to why Isreal would be helping Ukranians. Unless it is not, and it is a pretense.

When was that? 90 years ago?

Yes. You actually think anyone in Europe and Israeli forgets? Nope, Kishinev pogroms in present-day Moldova? Nope, while Tsarist Russians were also guilty and blamed Jews for everything, apart from when blaming Poles, lol, majority of pogroms were done by Ukrainians. Why do you think Isreal formed as a desired state for Jews? Yep, Tsarist Russia and Ukrainians.

Jews have not forgotten Babi Yar.

Israel.

I see reports there was a meeting a few weeks ago. I don't see anything new really. Obviously, sanctions didn't do anything. We have sanctioned Cuba since 1960s when Russia put nukes at our front door. Been over 60 years.

Sanctions are just a long term, slow way of draining a country of any military potency. It’s like shelling, in a way - lasts long, many casualties, and eventually the country can’t be aggressive any more. But since a country that large has never been sanctioned before it remains to be seen how effective it is. Its regular citizens are sure to live a miserable life though.

Cuba has never been aggressive toward the US. America sanctions Cuba out of pure spite since there is no conceivable harm that can come to America from Cuba.

I meant the Russian case and sanctions in general
They aren’t different from the indiscriminate shelling Russia is doing now
They hurt all people. And they hurt the poor and powerless the most
I understand there’s nothing else that can be done but I also can’t help but feel for those Russians who never wanted the war

Ukraine has the only other Jewish head of state in the world aside from Israel.

Well, that makes sense, I will admit.

At least they can still do something about it. The Ukrainians killed by Russia cannot.

Israel feels about Ukraine as Russia does about Germany. The past is forgotten

Bad imagery for Russia - it you think they made them themselves or something? That they were not built months ago?

LOL, no one believes that. They were wearing blue when they left Earth - no reason to change into yellow unless they were trying to make a point.

The uniforms were made a while ago, I’d think….Russia thought they would have conquered Ukraine by now. The launch was on March 18, a day they celebrate conquering Crimea.

Who knows what the yellow really means?

It's pretty clear what the yellow suits and blue tape meant. Don't know why you're trying to argue otherwise.

I am so concerned for Mariupol. No one is left to tell the story now.

+1

Russians who follow the party line know to avoid blue and yellow in combination right about now.

Is it just me or are people kind of over the Ukraine situation now? Tough to keep hold of the collective imagination for long, I guess.

Putin is selling this as a religious war

Nope, but Ilive where there are many people with Eastern European, Polish, and German ancestry. Lots of fundraisers and flags.
