I'm glad you did too. We're better off without you.

You are a loser. Who uses the term goobers? LOL. Stay at FCV.

Hehehe--agreed. I know about one who supposedly turned down a Spirit offer and this response is 100% right on in that case.

Unless you’re one of his favorites, and it’s very clear who is, then expect VERY little support. From talking to other parents, none of the coaches are much help either.

And for anyone who says my expectations were too high, maybe they were, but comparing our experience to what I’ve heard from friends who have kids are other top level clubs, BRYC is not doing their job.
TIFWIW

I don't know if he was a good coach once, but now it seems like the TD is just phoning it in, and trying to grab some cash before he retires.
I found him to be useless.

I think we are all going to be a little surprised when rosters are final and posted. I’ve been surprised by some of the player moves that I heard about in the rumor mill. Another interesting year for girls’ soccer in the DMV.

No doubt. And it's just getting started. It will take a while for the dust to settle.

Parents bring their kids to FCV because they want to win and care most about the scoreboard. They think winning soccer games at U14 means their money is well spent.

If you want the best college recruiting go to Bethesda or BRYC. If you wanted to play with the best you go to WS. They have the best players at the GNT level - there is no question there. They give you access to pro coaches. The coaches run circles around FCV coaches. Those guys are amateurs (I mean guys literally - female coaches won't work there).

There is so much wrong with this post I don't even know where to start. Please go do some research before you spout here.

Ok let's go. The two best area players are Jordan Canniff and Gabby Robinson. Both are WS. Name two better at FCV...you can't. The best play at WS.

And... they are the best because of 1 year of training under WS staff . ? Is that what you're going to tell me?
Honestly, who cares who had the golden child? BRYC produced Mia Hamm, does that make BRYC the winner?

They are best players. So don’t talk about playing with the best at FCV. Do you your research before coming here to spout off.

So the "best players" comment refers to the average ability level, not the stars.

You all act like your kids are superstars and compare clubs like you know it all. Get a grip. Most will not even play professional. They won't even get a sniff playing for USA. So just enjoy whichever club your kid is in and do not worry about others and who is better and who is not. Wasted energy.

Nothing like wasting energy posting about others wasting their own energy.

He might have wasted 30 seconds of his energy, whereas most have spent hours here. I am sure you are one of those who have spent hours arguing with others.

Upvoting his own posts. Doesn't get any more stupid than that.

Says the guy who assumes he knows who is posting what on an anonymous public forum. Embarassing.
