Are you joking ? look at U16 and older standings in CCL, they are the ones getting owned |
Forum policeman is back. Great censoring! |
See and I can't imagine living in Arlington and having a kid play for Arlington
Loudoun and Arlington are both factories which emphasize shitty, American-style physical play. Who gives a shit what they win when it's long ball central and doesn't resemble futbol one bit. |
My kid plays travel and is also a hell of a rock keyboardist. (I'm assuming you're being sarcastic, but still ...) |
I thought we established several pages ago that CCL teams don't care about CCL standings, only State Cup, Region I and tournaments. |
You are right. You are simply responding to a troll trying to start a flame war. |
Only $200 per player! Wow! That means my DS might break even with a partial scholarship! |
I think there is only one person here that remotely cares about the state cup tournament. One single opinion hardly establishes fact. And someone is claiming loudoun is the best because they own CCL, clearly they don't in the ages that matter, when everyone is trying to win pretty much everything they play. |
They win the club points every year which means that as a overall product, not just a age group Loudoun is incredibly competitive and consistent accross the board in the best regional league. |
That may be the case, but it doesn't support the claim that they are the BEST CLUB IN THE AREA. My son is part of a strong group of U11 players that have played together for a few years and most of these kids are on a DA or elite club track. I don't think Loudoun is on anyone's radar for the next step, while DCU, Bethesda, VDA and Arlington certainly are. The comment about best regional league is confusing. I don't see Loudoun in EDP. |
EDP in our region is not strong. If you are in the brackets with the New Jersey teams sure, but our end of EDP does not compare to CCL. Loudoun is a GDA feeder to the Spirit and has U12-U14 DA which would apply to your sons age group, so it is a destination at younger ages. Being on the DA track is not the same as being on the DA. There will be kids on your sons team that will be displaced by kids from other clubs. There is no loyalty in the DA. |
| Again, Loudoun checks off all the possible boxes. |
Anyone who has had older kids come up through travel soccer will tell you to pay no attention to who has the most wins at U9-U12. So Loudoun booster.... please go through the CCL results the last couple of years and tell us how Loudoun compares to other CCL clubs on "club points" at U13 and above. For all I know Loudoun may still have the most "points" in the older ages. But that is the only club points metric that could convince me that Loudoun produces better teams than the other CCL clubs. |
| Maybe we should start a "Loudoun vs. Arlington trash talk" thread. |
