I’m looking too. It wasn’t possible to watch and thought it would be easier to locate in full. Only finding clips and commentary.

I searched online and found this sad news:

We’d advise that you catch it live, since the interview is expected to be a one-night-only event, with no planned rerun unlike many other high-profile interviews.

Omg. Give me a Dubonnet cocktail and afternoon tea. A long hike in the Scottish countryside. I would do just fine in a life of seclusion. They can say whatever they want about me. I’d go on living my best life in private. Kate can win. I’ll play bad cop.

Haha, same

Can I join? I’ll take crazy in laws with that too. I can wear ear plugs and just live a life of luxury.

Oh I missed this… Thank you!

Anonymous wrote:I think it is very telling how deep racism is in America by posts here on dcum! You just don't get it! You are so blind to your own bias when it comes to race and race issues.

You truly think all your comments about Meghan are just that, not clouded by decades of being conditioned to view women, particularly Black women, as hysterical, irrational, and playing the victim.
I am saying this with all honesty and well intentions; please, please look into what racial bias is and how you are unaware of it. Once you start realizing what it is and how it manifests, I am hopeful that many here will realize that they truly didn't know they were engaged in it.
Because you were conditioned to think you are just telling it like it is.

But, racial power structures are so ingrained in the culture that you truly believe you are not saying or acting in a racist way, even when you are.
Even BBC is acknowledging that this must be addressed, but not the majority of white dcum.

Do you not realize that this is how Harry has spent the last 35+ years of his life? He went into the military because (1.) that was the only career allowed of him and (2.) he had drive and ambition. Do you not believe he chaffed at the monotony that you idealize?

To a person of ambition, whiling away at soggy castles and counting down the hours until your next meal is slow torture. My guess is that he married Meghan BECAUSE he didn't want to live that kind of life and wanted a wife who would support him in having a career.

You approaching this as a harried parent. Of course sending your kids off with nannies and having staff meal prep and handle the cleaning sounds amazing. Me too!

Honestly my impression was that Kate was thrashed far more than Meghan. Kate did what was expected of her and ultimately earned some respect, but it did take a very long time. That's how it works. Meghan wasn't willing to play that game, and although I don't blame her for that, at some point she needs to sit down and acknowledge the unbelievable privilege of having a husband with a trust fund that allows you to do whatever you please. I mean seriously, go enjoy the private life in your mansion you say you wanted and stop with the attention-seeking behavior.

I don't think you were paying attention, then.

How long was Kate part of the family before she got pregnant? Exactly. She endured years of press abuse when they were dating and then the first few years of their marriage before she got pregnant. MM didn’t even make it a year.

I found this comparison so gross. She went in on Kate Middleton (first of all that's not her name at ALL anymore!).

But then they're comparing the tabloids, but also claiming the tabloids are full of lies and they never read them, but yet they were also so hurtful at the beginning, and friends were coming to her with details that were distressing her during her pregnancy to the point she wanted to kill herself and her unborn child, but then don't question his skin color and give him a title, but this organization is so toxic and racist we had to leave, but we still want official protection and funds from them. And we are so shocked at their behavior but still they better take our calls.

It boggles the mind until you've had experience with a narcissist before. They will trash you to no end, but then when you distance that's also your fault and proof it's been your fault from the start.

Well, that was a train-wreck.

Anonymous wrote:Oprah didn’t seem keen on Meghan but more so on Harry. Body language. Meghan seemed a bit off? Mission to destroy Kate.

Can you elaborate? I also agreed Oprah didn't feel comfortable with Meghan.

I mean, who's to say that Meghan doesn't turn on Oprah one day after this interview? She put words in her mouth, leading questions etc. I mean if she will turn on the Queen of Englad, she will stop at no one.

She didn’t turn on the Queen though. She continues to say how wonderful she is. She thinks that will keep her in her good graces.

After trashing practically the entire BRF? Delusional.

this made me chuckle!

i don't know why i expected to come here this morning and find anything other than hatred. still blaming meghan. smh.

Yes the racism is strong in these people. this will likely be the longest thread i ever make on dcum haha

Just because people don’t believe Meghan, doesn’t make them racist. Every opinion isn’t veiled in racism.

I'm really tired of their woe-is-me attitude....especially when it's on every.single.thing.
Dude - you are a million times better off than any of us plebes will ever be. Cry me a river.

Their PR person should really advise them to change their tune and put on their big boy and big girl pants and start forging onward instead of dwelling on their past and airing out their dirty laundry to garner sympathy and wanting to be relatable (b/c we all know you are just like one of us, right?).

They called her Waity Katie in reference to the length of time they dated before getting engaged. They photographed her. Both William and the Palace intervened to get the press to back off a bit.

Where was the Palace with Meghan? Did anything approach the weird "can't do anything right" style of coverage they've given Meghan? The side-by-side examples in that article are pretty telling.

My black friends think she is entitled and spoiled. I don’t think you are reading the room correctly.

Oprah was not buying it either. Frankly, she fit the part of an “entitled Karen” more.

If you go to the main popular African American forum lipstick alley they are all outraged at Meghan’s treatment and supportive of her.

Like Harry they bought the Kool Aid.

Your one black friend. Well then... that must be how ALL black people think I'm black. Your one black friend is in the minority.

New poster. It’s her black friend at work.

You are mixing up 2 posters. I posted the comment about the Kool Aid, because she's fooled many.

Regarding the interview site. I know Rob Lowe lives in the neighborhood. He mentioned on his podcast seeing Harry out driving one day.

It’s not a mixup… It’s an ongoing commentary. That you participated in.

While you presume to speak for every other black person?

The “you’re a racist if you don’t support Meghan” trope is truly exhausting. To whomever keeps relentlessly posting this please stop. You’re detracting from the conversation us non racists are having.
