It sounds like both the OKM/HS and T/CB were close exciting meets. It also appears the OKM knows how to accept a defeat gracefully.

OKM family here and we LOVE LOVE LOVE going to Highlands! Such sweet people, phenomenal team, and fast racing! They have the best team dress up and spirit too! A whole playlist related to turtles is *chef’s kiss.* I don’t know how the division decides locations, but I’m happy to go there again. Beautiful facility too!

The DQ or lack there of would not have decided the meet one way or another. I think it was CB protesting that it should have been a DQ.

As an aside, the Division Rep was at the meet so there was an actual NVSL person present. So I’m sure he was looped in.

Tuckahoe won with some amazing wins and their relays killed it. CB also had phenomenal wins and great times.

It was close and it’s disappointing that people on this forum would mention a DQ that was a non-issue/non-decider. Instead look at all the great swims in a tightly contested meet!

It isn’t a non issue when it delays a meet for an hour and swimmers at other meets are talking about it during their meets. Also, there’s a reason that the Division coordinator is compelled to be at so many CB and T meets. It’s not to admire the good behavior.

It literally had no bearing on the final score. It was 1 point. Tuckahoe won by 6.

It didn’t delay anything. The resolution took place after tuckahoe won while they were celebrating in the pool.

Meet ended at 1130. It would have been faster if not for disruptive Chesterbrook parents and a car alarm or two.

Was literally a few minutes (5 minutes max?) during meet and discussed post meet, which was irrelevant either way as it had no impact on meet results. Let relax with the lies.

And for filming races from behind the starts. Then they crowded around the data table trying to check scores. There were no words for the ridiculousness.

I’m glad the Div Coordinator was there. He was able to witness the good and bad behavior first hand.
