Agree— I don’t get the hoopla over Walz.

I’d feel better if either Harris or Walz had the intellectual chops to run the country. Haven’t seen any evidence of it.

Do you seriously believe Trump has “the intellectual chops” to run the country?

Intellectual chops in all administrations come from the staff and who they select to run various things. The democrats will do ok. Trump has already shown us Project 2025 and it seems terrible.

"President Donald Trump was described as having the intellect of a "fifth- or sixth-grader" by Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis following a meeting about North Korea and the U.S.'s involvement in the region, according to a new book."

The hoopla is that the guy embodies the Amercian dream, to grow up on a rural farm and make his way, you know, pulling himself up by his own boostraps, in a very honorable and humble way.

His not-very-clever names for people are so stupid! "Shifty Adam Schiff." This act is so tired.

It's like he's doing the hotels off the Vegas strip, sing his stale material from years ago. This is really depressing and old.

He's in the Fat Elvis stage.

and you think Trump has the "intellectual chops"? I question if you even understand what being intellectual means and if you have any intellect yourself. Just be ok voting for the rapist, you don't need to justify it by questioning Harris or Walz's intellect sweetie.

Trump's staff mostly consists of fellow grifters and family members. If Project 2025 is any indication, his victory would be very bad for our future.

Why do you call Trump by his last name but Kamala by her first name?

There is absolutely no chance Republicans would nominate an 82-year old Donald Trump after losing 2 out of 3 elections in the EC and 3 out of 3 in the popular vote. They will be so hungry to win they will finally kick him to the curb. Question is, if Trump decides to run and then humiliatingly loses the GOP nomination, will he try to tear the entire party down purely out of spite?

I think you're right about them finally kicking him to the curb. What amazes me is that January 6 was not disqualifying for today's GOP, but repeated losing is.

GOP Inc is just controlled opposition; progressives doing the speed limit. It’s all one big Uni Party theater act.

If anyone ever needed proof that the “both sides” lunatics are in fact just Republicans, the “Uni Party” label is the big tip off. https://abcnews.go.com/538/claims-uniparty-washington-reality-suggests/story?id=109306451

People who seek to put the Democrats and the Republicans in the same box are far right people (and not very good at thinking clearly).

It was, until Kevin McCarthy went down there and kissed his ring.

I thought according to the identity politics democrats this wasn’t possible. He’s privileged and didn’t do any of it himself.
